"Look at daddy's bean." Banks cooed as the nurse continued to rub the cold substance around my belly. I was used to it by now as I smiled looking at my little baby listening to the rapid heartbeat. My stomach was becoming harder to hide so I would have to let everyone know about Baby King.
"You're now thirteen weeks today." Nurse Lena cooed. Time was flying and I was now entering my second trimester. "You actually could find out the gender today as well. Your baby has their legs wide open."
Banks looked at me and I nodded. I was anxious to know what we would be having as well. I wanted my boy. I let the nurse know that we were ready to know what our baby would be. Banks wanted to do a gender reveal but now he was too eager to know and wanted to know today.
"Her legs are wide open." She said as Banks jumped up. Baby King is a girl.
"I make princesses only." He smiled as he kissed my cheek. A tear had ran down my cheek and I hadn't even noticed. I wanted a boy but I know how much having a baby girl would mean to Banks seeing as he lost Kairi.
"Aw, I'm so happy babe." I smiled as we shared a kiss. Now, I could start picking out a name and shopping for my baby. Somehow, finding out that I would have another girl had me excited.
"I'll go get your ultrasound pictures." She said as she wiped off my belly and pulled my shirt down.
"You got your girl." I smiled at Banks. I could literally see all of his teeth as he snapped pictures of me as I rubbed my belly mindlessly.
"I'm so happy mama." He said as we shared another kiss.
"Me too baby." I smiled.
Nurse Lena waltzed back in handing us a dozen ultrasound pictures. Banks snatched them before I could get a chance to. He was still smiling from ear to ear as he skimmed through the photos. I only watched him and smiled.
"Daddy's princess." He whispered to himself. It was like he was in his own little world thinking about our baby. I was so happy that I could give him a daughter.
My nurse began to give me instructions on what's to come as I enter my second trimester. She congratulated us once again before sending us on our way. I checked out at the front desk with Banks hot on my trail. He held my waist as he walked behind me as if we were Siamese twins.
He helped me into his Bentley before we took off. I began to look at the ultrasound pictures myself. I mindlessly smiled thinking about how beautiful she would be. I already knew she would come out with Banks' whole face.
"You down to get some brunch, mama?" Banks said while sparing me a glance. The nigga was still smiling too.
"That sounds really good, babe. Don't you have a lot to do today?"
"I got time for you mama." He said while quickly pecking my cheek before putting his attention back to the road.
I held his free hand as he drove to our favorite brunch spot. We made it in about ten minutes because it wasn't too far from the hospital.
