Blessen
"It's so beautiful in here." I cooed looking at the painting of a beautiful black queen, literally. She had beautiful bronze skin, long and thick curly hair that was covered with a crown of many colors. She had my attention. The card next to the piece of art said that her name is Maya and she is what the artist envisioned to be God.
"Mommy, look at how pretty she is." Blu grabbed my hand as she led me to another painting of a pretty brown skinned girl who looked just like her.
"She looks like you mama." Banks said as he picked her up and Cali rushed over. "And you too Cals." He picked Cals up as well.
"What about me?" I fake pouted.
"You aight." He teased before pecking my lips.
"Uh-huh. That's nasty." Blessen said pushing Banks' face.
"Don't be hitting my uncle." Cali fussed as we laughed. Cali and Blu had a crazy relationship. One minute they were the best of friends, then the next minute they hated each other. I think that their problem is that they are so much alike and they have personalities bigger then their bodies.
"I do what I want. Don't get punched." Blu bucked at Cali who just rolled her eyes. Blu was about that life though. Cali was all bark.
"Woahhhh mama." Banks laughed. I rolled my eyes at him because we were both trying to get better with disciplining Blu. Instead of laughing at the crazy shit she said we were working towards correcting her and here he is fucking up the new cycle already.
"Blu you won't be punching anyone." I said grabbing her from Banks and placing her on her feet. "Tell Cali that you're sorry."
"For what?" She mugged before crossing her arms across her chest.
"Girl." I said in the sternest voice.
"Okay." She sighed before turning towards Cali who was now standing in front of Blu. "I'm sorry for hitting your uncle but if he kisses my mommy while I'm there I'll do it again."
"Look, she said she was sorry." Banks shrugged. He was no help at all. "Cali apologize."
"What? I didn't do anything."
"Cali Noelle." He said mocking the stern voice I tried to pull off with Blu.
"Sorry." She whined.
"I ain't really hear you mama what you say?" He said bending down close to her face. He began to tickle them both as they squealed.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" They squealed trying to run away from his tickles but he held them both in his arms firmly. He said before letting them go as they rushed of to looked at another work of art.
"Those little girls are so silly."
"Word. Our daughter is gonna be like that too."
"Woah, woah, woah. No sir. Not now. Not ever."
"You having my kid. I ain't trying to hear that." He said pulling me closer by my waist. I began laughing but I could tell that he was dead ass serious.
"Oh, you're serious." I said biting my lip. I began to think about what it would be like to have a kid with Banks. With Blu, I was mostly alone with her and Ayden was always away but that never changed Blu's love for him. I know how hands-on Banks is and I know that he would have a great presence in the life of the child we would create together. Thinking about Banks as a father made me smile.
"As a heart attack."
"When the time is right. I'll give you a baby. I know you'll be the best dad."
