                      CHAPTER 10

"Samara .." - Carl hissed between his lips, looking towards the girl, sitting on the porch's stairs of the Gallagher house, completely soaked, while the rain slowly hit her shoes and knees, which were left uncovered by the small roof of the porch .

The girl did not notice him, but continued to pull her coat to her body , rubbing her arms between them along the chest, trying to stay at least a little warm, when the boy walked slowly towards her, looking around, even though the heavy rain pounding his eyes made it nearly impossible for him to see clearly

He moved closer and closer to her, when the girl shifted her gaze forward towards him, saying nothing, just staring at him for a few seconds and then returning to herself, nervously fiddling with her hands and trying not to point out her wet eyes and the obvious dark circles that surrounded her eyes.

He did the same, he said nothing, he sat alone next to her, keeping his gaze fixed on the point straight in front of them, waiting for her to start talking, after all she had so many things to say to him and above all to explain to him. The girl, however, seemed not to want to take this initiative, as she continued to keep her gaze fixed on one point, and to tremble more evidently than before, when he broke the silence.

"Can you explain to me or at least tell me what happened? You haven't been heard from since last night, which is very strange since we exchange at least one message every night, plus I saw that you weren't well, and I also tried to ask you why or to find an explanation, but you didn't seem intent on either option "- he asked in a low tone, making her draw her gaze to him, when she laughed lightly

"Not everything can be said Gallagher" - she only muttered, rolling her eyes and holding back tears at the same time, while in her brain she wondered why she hadn't just told him, at that moment she couldn't keep it all inside and had to let off steam with someone, yet even if this was always retorted on her mind, she never put it into action. . she was convinced that it would've be a weak move, to let off steam with someone and show their own weaknesses to someone other than themselves, this was also repeated in her head, and that was what stopped her.

"Fuck Samara you don't understand that I just want to help you! I'm just trying to be a good friend, and I honestly don't even like seeing you being like this." - Carl noted then raising his tone, getting up and moving in front of the girl, who looked up slightly
.
"I just can't understand you" - he snorted then, crossing his arms to his chest, when Samara got up abruptly, putting himself on the same level as the boy

"Well I don't think you care that James Brooke started harassing me in my remedial history class while you were out with Nick commenting on the girls walking by, or the fact that at my favorite coffee shop he found Noah and another girl with him, and despite everything he tried to shitting me to make me believe she was his cousin, and in addition to make me look bad by thirty people in there because I threw all the milkshake on her ! "- the girl barked all of a sudden, starting to sob slightly and letting herself slide down the stairs again, covering her face with her hands.

"Go inside .." -was the only thing the boy said, before quickly turning the key to the lock of the door and opening it behind him, letting the girl in.

"Do you know he doesn't deserve you?" Carl asked in an obvious tone, placing his coat on the hanger, and walking towards the kitchen, looking for a cup.

"Which who between James and Noah?" - Samara laughed, sitting on one of the stools along the counter, right in front of him, and making him smile.

"Both of them , James deserves jail and that asshole Clumbsy doesn't deserve you it's enough, you're too much for him" - the boy said , pouring hot coffee on a cup.
