I will glorify the lord Jehovah, For he is faithful His presence is most felt in my moments of trials and tribulations.
In recent time, The enemy has been attacking my mind Trying to ruin my growing faith, Trying to sow the seeds of doubt in my juvenile mind, Trying to cause me to depart, From the destiny Jehovah has called me to enter But in God's faithfulness, He never leaves me to face the devil alone He equips me with his word, his hymns and strength.
Once, in my moment of weakness, I became arrogant and grumbled Then the enemy sent a demon to harass me in my sleep But God, in his everlasting might and splendour Woke my dozing spirit back up Refueled my desire and ambition for greatness, And humbled me.
My new found humility makes me realise, I am nothing without God's strength For if I rely on my own might, Moments of weakness will prevail But when I rely fully on God, Surely he never fails My strength and grace, Never fails.
