He took her hand and spun her softly then dipped her backwards as he gently held onto her back.

A majestic looking tabby cat rubbed its body against the couple's legs wanting attention.

The woman stopped dancing to pick up the tabby and hold it lovingly in her arms.

She swayed playfully to the song with the feline in her arms as her loving partner chuckled at her silliness.

The cat that was set to the ground walked to the side and watched the couple dance to the few seconds of the record that were left.

As the record faded to an end, so did the memory.
Her beautiful smile was the last thing he saw before it all faded to darkness.
He had to open his eyes now or he might never open them again.

He looked down as he felt the same tabby rubbing on his leg with a sad look in her eyes.
"I know." he picks up the cat.
"I miss her too." a tear falls down the immortal beings' face.
"I'll find a way to bring her back."
