The music stopped.
At least in my head, it did.
It's like all of my surroundings were in slow motion.
She looked breathtaking.
All three of them did.
But they weren't supposed to be here.
They're the three most evil people ever known to mankind.
They're planning something.
She has that look on her face to prove it.
This is an all hero's event.
They're the villains.
There's no way this night is going to end well.
Her eyes scan the room, I'm not quite sure about the other two since they both have their signature masks on.
As the waiter walks by them, she grabs a glass of champagne off of his tray.
She takes a sip before walking off to the side with the other two beside her.
They walk in sync, they are linked in a way that we heroes could never understand or replicate.
You would think that heroes have a special bond, but we don't. We hate each other.
We all aspire to be number one. We all want to be the center of attention.
But them?
They don't desire to be the center of attention.
Everyone's attention is on them as soon as they step foot into a room. But they don't care.
At least not for the reason that we heroes do.
The villains will sit patiently and wait for us to tear each other apart. They don't have to do anything if they don't want to.
But they do.
They want to watch us suffer and writhe in pain.
They find it amusing and entertaining. It's pure evil.
The three of them stand to the side observing all of us. I wouldn't be surprised if they already knew all of our weaknesses.
The two taller men bend slightly, I'm guessing to hear what the shorter female is saying.
After nodding, the two males walk off in separate directions.
My eyes follow the tall man with bubblegum-pink hair. The mask that he wears is horrifying.
I've heard rumours about him. Or maybe it's more of an origin than a rumour. Either way, It's been said that he was a king. A god.
