CHAPTER 5

MINA'S POV

After Dahyun got rid of the video of Chaeyoung and I kissing. Despite Dahyun deleted the video, more and more people kept reposting and circulating it again.

I'd thought in a matter of time, it would become old news but it didn't seem so.

Thankfully, my friends, Sana and Tzuyu. They've stuck with me through it all and are always standing up for me when anyone tried to do anything to me.

As for Chaeyoung, that little asshole couldn't be bothered. Then again, why would he?.

He's still captain of the basketball team and for some reason, girls still find him attractive.

I really don't get what they see in him. He has got to be the most annoying jerk ever. And he's not even that handsome.

We haven't spoken since Dahyun deleted the video and I've really enjoyed that, at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Oh, did I mention that I haven't been able to stop thinking about the kiss that Chaeyoung and I shared?.

I've tried to forget but it keeps coming back. Whenever I see him, it's like someone turns a switch in my brain and boom, I can see us kissing again.

It's really annoying and I wish it would stop. I don't know what's worse, the fact that I can't seem to forget about the kiss or the fact that I want it to happen again.

Ugh! I'm really starting to regret pranking him.

Anyways, I should probably get started on my assignment.

I would never have had this much assignment if it wasn't for Chaeyoung. You remember Mrs.Lee?.

The teacher who gave me detention for trashing his office when Chaeyoung pranked me? Yes, that Mrs.Lee.

She still isn't over it so she's punishing me some more by giving me the most assignment of all ages.

Oh well, I suppose sitting down and whining won't solve anything now will it?.

I groaned again as I rolled off my bed and headed to my study table. As I prepared to start, I found myself wondering what Chaeyoung was doing.

"Forget it, Mina. Forget about it and just do your assignment", I said to myself and started the assignment.

My concentration was suddenly Interrupted as I heard my mom yell my name from downstairs.

"What do you want, Mom?", I yelled back.

"Come down, Mina".

"Ugh, really? Mom!!!", I yelled.

Angrily, I stomped down the stairs and to the kitchen where my mom was.

"Mom? What? I was really busy", I whined.

"I'm really sorry, Mina but I need you to give someone a pizza".

"A pizza? Really, Mom?".

"Yes, a pizza but don't worry, you're just taking it our neighbor".

On hearing the words neighbor, I felt my heart rate increase.

Neighbor. Chaeyoung. Kiss.

"Mina, honey, are you okay? You look pale", My mom said, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Oh yeah, yeah. I'm okay mom", I replied, smiling nervously.

"Are you sure?".

"Yes, of course. So uh, couldn't you just send Dahyun instead?".
