CHAEYOUNG'S POV
"Goodnight Grandma", I said, pecking my grandma good night on her cheek before heading to bed.
She didn't hear me since her medication had already begun to take effect but I made such to always tell her good night.
"Good night Mom. Good night Dad. Good night Momo", I said heading up the stairs to my room.
Once in my room, I lay in bed and prepared to sleep when I suddenly remembered.
Slipping out of the covers of my bed, I rushed towards my window and pushed it up. I looked at Mina's window and saw that the curtains were down but the lights were still on.
"Psst! Mina!", I called.
When she didn't respond, I called her again. Then I heard shuffling and the tap tap of feet against the floor.
"Chaeyoung! What do you want?", She asked, looking out her now opened windows.
"Well, I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed tonight".
She smiled.
"Yeah. Me too".
"Enough to do it again?".
"Sure. Why not?".
"Awesome. Okay then. Good night".
"Nighty night tiger", She added with a giggle.
"Right back at you, penguin girl".
Penguin girl was a nickname she had when she was younger, one she was totally embarrassed about.
"Okay, that's fair. See you tomorrow".
"Yeah", I said as she pulled her windows shut and her curtains together.
I did same and settled back into bed. As I stared at the ceiling, I found myself anxiously awaiting tomorrow.
Why? I had no idea.

"For the last time Yeri, I already have a girlfriend".
"You don't expect me to believe that, do you?".
"Believe what you want to but it's over, okay?".
"Come on Chaeyoung, you can't just give up on us like that".
I groaned.
"That's the thing. There was never a us and the sooner you get it, the easier it'll be for you to move on".
"But~", She was saying when Mina suddenly appeared out of the blue and grabbed my arm.
"Hey babe", She said pecking my cheek.
"Who's your friend?".
"Mina, this is Yeri. Yeri, this is Mina, my girlfriend".
"Hi Yeri. Nice to meet you", Mina said, stretching her hand for a handshake.
Yeri didn't accept the handshake. Instead, she gave Mina a dirty look as she turned to me.
"You really can't be serious, right? I can't believe you dumped me for this girl!".
Mina opened her mouth to talk but I was quick to jump in.
"Look Yeri, I get that you're angry but it would be wise if you mind your tongue. You don't want to mess with me or my girlfriend".
She gulped fearfully but was quick to replace her fearful look with a look of distaste instead.
She snapped her fingers with a "Come on, girls", And walked away, her friends trailing behind her.
