Ivy's POV

The day of the photoshoot with Mr Stark came and I was excited to finally start working on the The Avengers Project. As usual, I got up early in the morning, get myself ready for the day. Today, I decided to wear a creamy turtleneck sweater and beige smart pants, finishing with camel colour stilettos. I skipped breakfast, wanting to get to the office earlier to prepare everything before Mr Stark arrival. I called Matthew to pick me up and within 20 minutes I was sitting in the back of the car.

"Matthew?" I asked politely.

"Yes, Mr Jones?"

"Before we get to The Stark Tower, can we quickly stop by some coffee shop? I didn't eat and I'm seriously craving a cup of coffee."

"Of course, Ms Jones."

"Oh no, please call me Ivy." I smiled.

Matthew looked up at me in the rear-view mirror and nodded with agreement.

We stopped by the nearest coffee shop where I ordered a cup of coffee and a turkey sandwich. When we finally arrived at The Stark Tower, I thanked Matthew for the lift and walked in the building. It was still early in the morning and not a lot of people were here yet. I walked into the elevator and as soon as the doors were closing I saw a strange commotion outside and heard some whispers when a big hand jammed the elevator doors before they closed. Two men walked into the elevator and I immediately took a step back to make the room for them. One of them was tall, very well built, almost too perfect. Short blonde hair, blue eyes. He was wearing a grey shirt, brown leather jacket and denim pants. The other man was dark-skinned, big brown eyes, shorter than the blonde man, but still tall. He was wearing beige color pants, white shirt and an undo sweatshirt.

"Good morning." Said the blonde man.

"Hello." Said the dark-skinned man.

Both of them smiled at me, giving secret glances between me and them and I saw clear amusement on their faces, like they were making fun of something I sure was a part of but knowing nothing about it. The blonde man was really trying to keep a straight face, but failing big time. I could see how the corners of his mouth were lifting up, forming a little smirk, while the dark-skinned man was fully smirking under his nose.

"Good morning." I replied and took a sip of my coffee, observing them closely.

"Beautiful day today, isn't it?" The blonde man asked the other one.

"Yeah, it is. I woke up so energized and motivated and now I'm feeling even better. I think maybe I should start something new to keep myself in shape and healthy? Like taking the stairs instead of the elevator?"

They both started to chuckle even though it wasn't anything funny about what he said. It was definitely an inside joke related to something I wasn't aware of, but I felt it might include me since I saw their glances over me, the wiggles of their eyebrows, small movements of their mouth hiding smirks. I grew slightly annoyed by their behaviour, but I kept my face straight, looking unbothered and totally uninterested. I turned my back on them and looked at the view from the elevator, sipping my coffee. In the corner of my eye I saw from the window reflection how both of them were talking noiselessly and making hand signals. Their acting confirmed my assumptions.
