Ivy's POV

After 5 drinks I've decided it's time to head home and sleep off this crazy day. I stood up to collect all my stuff and I felt the result of those few drinks in my legs. I stumbled a bit and now being on high heels didn't help either. I giggled to myself quietly, grabbed my things and walked up to call the elevator at the last second, it was already going down. I was putting my jacket on when the elevator doors opened and I saw Barnes in it. He was leaning on the wall, scrolling through his phone, minding his own business. When the doors opened he looked up and his stare hardened. We looked at each other for a second.

"Ugh, gosh. It's you again." I scoffed. "I'm gonna take the stairs. I don't want to be around traitors..."

I saw a confused look on his face and then anger appeared in his eyes. I turned on my heel and started walking toward the staircase doors, when I heard a hard hit. I looked back and saw that Barnes jammed the elevator doors from closing.

"What did you say to me?" He raised his voice.

"Traitor." I smirked mockingly, knowing I definitely struck a nerve in him. I was heading towards the staircase doors when I suddenly felt myself being grabbed by my arm and spun around really fast. I tried to not fall, despite being on high heels and under the influence. But I failed miserably. When Barnes turned me around to face him, I stumbled a bit, forcing me to grab something nearest to avoid falling on my butt. Too bad that the nearest thing was James, and to be more specific- his jacket. I straightened up my posture and let go of his jacket quickly. I looked up at him. He was angry. Really angry. Good. He deserved it. He was a traitor. He sold me out. Snitch. He took a good look at me from top to bottom.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer..." I chuckled viciously, feeling brave from all the alcohol. "You'll have something to have fun at night."

"You've been drinking." He spat angrily.

"So what?" I raised my brow. "You're not my daddy to scold me for drinking."

His eyes darkened and he clenched his jaw.

"What did you say about me?" He brought up his previous question, gritting his teeth.

"That you are a fucking traitor. You sold me out to Tony. You told him about the footage, you found a loophole to tell your friends about me."

"The fuck? Does the alcohol made you that stupid or you just like that in general?" He took a step closer to me.

"Watch your mouth, asshole." I clenched my fists. "I have the full right to be mad at you because of what you did."

"Ok, so you're just stupid in general." He smiled in a mocking way, nodding. Before he said anything more I raised my fist to punch him in the face. But he blocked it easily, grabbing my fist in his hand.

"I'm warning you Ivy, you don't want to start something you won't handle." He said with a low, dark voice.

"I'll take my chances, thank you very much." I tried to yank out my hand from his grip.
