Battle Scars Shorts Volume 2 (Yang x Male Reader)

Flattery

You and your team were all exhausted after having a rough day of training. What made it all worse was that there was a heatwave that only made the training even more exhausting. Ruby got cold bottles of water for everybody and you all made your way to the lounge at your dorm to cool off. You and your girlfriend Yang sat at one of the tables together exhausted after your tiring workout. 

Yang: Uuuugh! It's so hot!

You then saw an opportunity to flatter Yang.

y/n: Not as hot as you Yang.

Yang looked at you confused for a moment but her face then went red as she blushed and began to giggle. She did her best to try and hide her embarrassment but she couldn't.

Yang: *Chuckling* Oh! You dork!

Ruby sat down next to her sister Yang giggling a bit at Yang's embarrassment. Blake and Weiss both laughed a little too but didn't interject.

Ruby: *Chucking* Oh here we go again.

Yang: y/n! Stop it! Your embarrassing me!

You decided to keep going.

y/n: Awww. But you look so cute when you blush.

Yang blushed a little more and the others laughed a little more.

Yang: Stop it! I'm supposed to be the edgy and cool girl!

y/n: Why would I stop? You're too beautiful not to tease.

Yang blushed more and laid her head on the table to cover her blushing face. She tried to hide her giggling but she couldn't. The others were all laughing like crazy at Yang's embarrassment. Yang then stood up.

Yang: OK! This is payback for embarrassing me!

Everyone went quiet as Yang walked up to you. You then got up and began to walk backward afraid of what Yang might do. 

y/n: Woah! Woah! Yang. Look. We can talk about this.

Yang ignored you and continued walking up to you. The others began to get concerned. But Yang quickly reached you and grabbed you by the collar.

Yang: Come here!

y/n: *In head* Oh no.

To your surprise, Yang pulled you into a kiss. Your face went red as you blushed but you calmed down and kissed Yang back. After a moment you both broke away from your kiss.

Yang: There. I got you back.

y/n: Well not what I expected but I'll take it.

Yang smiled at you and then looked confused.

Yang:  y/n? When did you get like this? You were always so serious when you first got here.

You thought for a moment.

y/n: Well, I think I have you to thank for that?

Yang: How so?

y/n: You were always trying to get me to smile and would always assure me that I'm better than I was all those years ago when I was in the White Fang.

Yang smiled at you again.

Yang: That's because you are. You dork. You always work hard to be a good member of this team and you always try and reflect on the things you did. 

Yang reached out and held your hands with hers as she rested her forehead on your forehead.

Yang: That's what makes you such a good boyfriend.

You couldn't help but smile at Yang. Yang then lifted her right hand and placed it on the side of your face.

Yang: There's that handsome smile I love.

y/n: That's why I do it.

Yang: Do what?

y/n: I like to flatter you for the same reason you always try to make me smile. I like to flatter you because I like to see you happy. When you talked about how angry all the time because your mom left I felt awful for you. I wanted you to feel happy because when I see you happy I can't help but feel happy also. When I do I don't feel like a criminal anymore.

Yang looked into your eyes for a moment before pulling you into another kiss.

Yang: Your not a criminal. You're my boyfriend. You're a member of this team. You're a huntsman. 

You looked into Yang's eyes and felt comfortable as you both looked at each other. Your moment was then interrupted by Weiss.

Weiss: Uh. You guys know we're still here right?

Ruby: Weiss! Don't interrupt!

You and Yang both blushed at the realization of what Weiss said. You both turned to face your teammates.

Yang: Oh... well...

y/n: Forgot about that...

Blake: Eh. Don't worry about it we're used to you two dorks having your romantic moments out in public.

Yang turned back to face you. 

Yang: Well... she's right. I guess there's no point in being embarrassed.

You turned to face Yang.

y/n: I guess not.

Yang: Anyways. I'm exhausted. How about we play Ninja Fighters 2 again?

y/n: Count on it.

Ruby: Hey! Don't forget me!

You, Yang, and Ruby all then went about the rest of your day together playing Ninja Fighters 2. Both you and Yang smiled the entire day.
