One day, as Alizey was returning from university, her car suddenly came under attack. Gunshots rang out, causing her to be filled with terror. The guards in the car behind hers immediately got out to confront the attackers.

"Ma'am, hide under your seat," the driver instructed her. She obeyed and tried to dial Jahan's number, but it was switched off. The sound of gunfire grew louder. Instead of stopping, the driver accelerated the car, trying to escape.

The assailants fired at the tires, causing the car to come to a halt. They approached the vehicle and forcefully opened the doors. Alizey was filled with horror. Simultaneously, they targeted the driver and shot him. Her guards tried to intervene, but the goons threatened her by pointing a gun at her forehead.

"Stay back!" one of the goons warned. Grabbing her by the hair, they forcibly pulled her out of the car, causing her to scream in pain.

They were dragging her towards their car, while her guards desperately tried to rescue her. However, they too were frightened by the attackers.

Suddenly, loud shots rang out in the air. Everyone looked towards the source, and there stood Jahan, emerging from behind. He swiftly pushed Alizey towards him, providing her with a sense of relief. The guards took control of the situation while he shielded her, firing back at the goons.

Amidst the chaos, Alizey's feet accidentally hit a stone, causing her to stumble and fall. She winced in pain.

"Boss, there's a car. Take the ma'am with you," one of Jahan's men arrived, running towards them and handing him the car keys. Jahan nodded, swiftly picking up Alizey, who had blood on her forehead and was screaming in agony.

He rushed to the car, while his men and guards dealt with the attackers. He drove with urgency, heading towards the hospital.

"We're on our way, Janum. Everything will be fine," he assured her, gripping her hand tightly and increasing the speed.

Upon reaching the hospital, Jahan rushed Alizey to the emergency room. Fortunately, one of the doctors there recognized him personally, providing Jahan with reassurance before entering the ward.

Meanwhile, he received a call from his associate, informing him that they had eliminated the attackers, who were likely terrorists planning to harm Jahan's family.

Restlessly pacing, Jahan anxiously awaited news. Half an hour later, the doctor emerged.

"We have bandaged her forehead and knees, but we discovered that she's pregnant. Thankfully, you arrived in time, and it wasn't too serious. The baby is safe. However, she requires a lot of care, and I recommend consulting a gynecologist for further guidance," the doctor conveyed in a professional manner.

"Thank you so much, doctor. Can I see her now?" Jahan, a man who rarely expressed gratitude or smiled, could not contain his immense joy.

Upon receiving confirmation from the doctor, he hurried into the room. His janum, his wife, lay on the bed with a drip in her white hand, now tinged with redness. Jahan kissed her forehead, and as she felt the touch of his lips, she opened her eyes.

"Haan," she whispered.

"Haan ki Jaan," he replied, kissing her hand and then her forehead.

"Everything is fine, relax." He helped her sit up and handed her a glass of water.

He sat on the bed beside her, and she rested her head on his chest. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and placed his right hand on her flat belly.

"Thank you for the best gift I have ever received," he expressed his gratitude.

Confused, she looked at him and then at his hand on her belly.

"We are going to become parents, janum," he announced.

Her eyes widened, trying to process the news.

"Lizey, are you okay? You don't seem happy," he questioned, observing her expression.

"No, it's just..." She shook her head in disbelief.

"Relax, janum." Jahan reassured her, gently patting her hand. He then made a call home, informing them that there was no need to come to the hospital. After completing the necessary formalities, they left for home.

Upon arrival, everyone eagerly awaited them at the door. Jahan assisted Alizey in getting out of the car. As they entered the lounge, he helped her to sit on the sofa beside their grandmother.

"Ya Allah, shukar hai mere bachi theek hai," their grandmother exclaimed, kissing and patting Alizey's head.

(Thank God my daughter is fine.)

"Now, you have to take extra care, beta," Jahan's mother advised, handing Alizey a glass of juice.

She attempted to give the glass back, but Jahan, who was sitting in front of her, gave her a stern look. Making a face, she reluctantly took a few sips.

"And Jahan, now you must stop risking your life," his mother scolded him, glaring in his direction. They all knew that the morning incident was related to Jahan's work.

Later that day, Alizey's phupho, Dawood, his wife, Hooriya, Faiqa, and others arrived. Their happiness knew no bounds, especially upon hearing the news of a child, especially a child belonging to Jahan. Somehow, amidst the joyous occasion, they all momentarily forgot about the morning incident.
