Ready or Not

Chapter 6: How bad can it be

Athena POV

"Athena come on we got to get ready or we will be late" Chandler shouted from the hallway.

I groaned.

"Chan, no matter how hard we try we are always late."

I rolled over in my bed trying to get into a comfortable.

"I want to give a good impression on Jayce so get your ass out of bed."

"You know he was a girlfriend right?"

"Yes but they are not mates. Soo."

"What ever you say." I said rolling over again to find my best position.

Then I felt a pillow collide with my head and I bounced up in shock.

"What the fuck is wrong with you and slamming a pillow on my head? You could have hit me any where else." 

"You slept for most of the day. You have two hours to get ready or we will be late." She said ignoring my question.

"You know the saying better late than never?"

"Yes"

"Well good cause I am going back to bed."

I laid my head back down when I felt another pillow collide with my head again.

"Put down the fucking pillow Chandler." I warned.

"Only if you get the fuck up Athena."

"Have you heard of fashionably late or -"

"I swear Athena if you give me one more quote instead of going into that shower this pillow will give you a concussion."

"What!" I raised my hand when I saw her picking up the the pillow over her head. "Let me get myself in a good position for sleeping first. At this point I am desperate anything to get me out from going to that celebration." I moved around hugging my pillow under my head and positioned my self in a comfortable climbing pose on my bed. 

"I am ready" I spoke. Closing my eyes for the hit but al I heard was the door opening and closing. Opening my eyes I realized that I was the only one in my room Chan was gone fuck. That means I have to get up for this celebration because the next person that will enter my room will not be Chandler it will be my Alpha.

I groaned getting out of bed and walked into the bathroom for a shower.

After my shower I went straight into my room to get ready. I dropped my towel on the bed walking over to my closet for my clothes when Chase opened the door seeing me full naked.

"Athena, I was wondering if you wow.... uh" he hesitated but couldn't finish his sentence for his eyes were roaming my naked body.

"Yes Chase I did and I will be your date." I spoke unfazed that he was just there staring at me. It's not like he never saw me before.

"Yes!" He cheered coming out of his trance from my body. Walking more into my room closing the door behind him and sitting on my bed.

I got myself ready while Chase and I spoke about random stuff. If it was one thing I liked no loved about Chase is that we could always talk about anything and laugh non stop.

Finishing up I wrapped my hair into a bun and put on my dress.

It was a red deep v - neck sequin dress with a slit on both sides. I was not too big in the chest area so the deep v was not really a big deal I think but the hips where here, there everywhere they where wide and the slits at the sides were showing my caramel light brown legs.
