Chapter 8: A Leopard Never Changes it's Spots

Athena's POV

I can't stop staring at him in shock. He is so handsome My Goddess why? I was a little scared to because he so gorgeous why would the Goddess put me with a beauty like............... that.

HaHa, I think he is drooling too?

His dark brown completion is so smooth I wanted to touch him. His hair was natural and it fits him so perfectly. His stormy gray eyes were staring deep into mine so hypnotizing. I never wanted to look away but I did to roam the rest of his delicious body. His lips were calling for me to kiss them. This is bad soo freaking bad.

My eyes were roaming down his body. He was wearing black a suit that looked small on him. Holy fuck was he buff. His muscles, biceps, triceps abdomen were all begging for air to breathe in his suit. His lower half was a snack and making one way eye contact with his so called " mini wolf". His was not mini at all and still growing by the looks of it. I knew I needed to go I was nowhere ready for this.

"Jayce." His mother called but he did not answer he was still staring at me.

"Jayce" she called again and there was not reply. I wonder what he is thinking about. Maybe how to fuck me, or what he wants to do to me in the most horrible way. He looks like he doesn't play when it comes to having fun. But I love to play and I know he is one to put me in my place. Hmm, I can't wait.

"No Athena he fucks all the girls he could find. Who said you would be different." My thoughts echoed.

"But but I am his mate. Of course he would treat me different right?" I countered.

"Or not. Not every mate is sane and nice. Who said he would."

"But he.. he would not?"

"He will not treat you right. A leopard never changes it's spots."

"That doesn't count he is a wolf and wolves adapt to changes. So shut up and leave me alone." I yelled in my head and focused back on my delicious mate. 

"JAYCE." His mom was still trying to call him.

"Hi, yes" he spoke coming back to the present from his thoughts. 

"The guests." Her head motioned forward to us. 

He approached Alpha Gray first going down the line and the closer he got the more nervous and sweaty I grew. Then it hit me, I swear I am so slow Jayce? Alpha Jayce Santiago is my mate. That is why my voice was going.

Just before he was going to shake my hand a girl walked through the doors. 

"Baby, I was looking for you, I didn't know you were still greeting the guests." She spoke.

Fuck no who is this bitch.

She turned towards us and started greeting.

"Good night Alpha, Luna, daughter and soon to be Alpha."

What kind of greeting is that?

"Oh and guest." she looked at me up and down in disapproval when she said that and smiled ugly. 

Yep this bitch is on my hit list.

" I am Aura Black and Alpha Jayce's soon to be Luna." 

I winced when those words left her mouth I felt a light grumble coming from me not to loud but good enough not to draw much attention. Her words echoed over and over in my head.

"Alpha Jayce's girlfriend....." sometimes my mind is so mean to me it even slowed down the last word "girlfriend" so I could hear it crystal clear.

"I told you a leopard never changes it spots." My thoughts echoed.
