Chapter 10: Is it Desire?

Athena's POV

We finally reached home no more Jayce. No more need to jump him or seeing the ugly bitch of a thot Aura.

"She is Luna" my voice echoed.

"But she shouldn't . I should I am supposed to be Luna not that louse."

"No your not. Aura is he loves Aura he never told his mother about you so why would he want you."

"Jayce is mine thought. I feel like I love him."

"No it is desire. He is not yours. He will never be yours. He would not change for you. He could get any girl in the world so why on earth would he dump them just for a girl like you."

"Your right" I sighed ready to shed all my tears.

"Good, now lets go inside."

I exited the car. Thinking about them kissing, toughing, making love, laughing or even talking it all hurts.

Walking up to the front door I was hit with the scent again. It was so strong it was delicious it was his. I turned around to the tree line where the scent was coming from but I did not see him but I knew he was there. I raised my hand in the air telling him to give me five minutes.

I walked into the house and collided straight into Chase's chest almost tumbling over.

"Yeah, I think you are the one that needs to watch where they are going." He spoke chuckling a little.

"Ha Ha very funny, you need to stop standing in the middle of the walk way."

"Hm okay."

I nodded and started walking to my room but stopped to talk to Chase again.

"Oh, wait Chase can I borrow one of the your sweat pants?"

"Um why there to big for you?"

"Because I want one, please." I begged. 

"Okay fine. Bottom draw th-"

"Yeah yeah I know already. Thanks" I shouted running up the stairs to change to my sweats then into Chase's room.

I walked over to his dresser and I was surprised at what I saw. It was a picture of us together. I stared at it for a while realizing it had crease lines indicating that it was folded but he opened in a lot.

I dropped the photo back on Chase's desk when I heard his voice from the hallway. I grabbed the sweat pants quickly and walked out the room. Closing the door behind me I turned around and collided with Chase again.

"I think you purposely plant yourself in the way for me to bump into you."

" That is a thought or maybe it is a sign that we belong together." He spoke.

I looked up at him and saw a big ass grin on his face. So cute, but only if it was true.

I smiled back and walked around him.

"Oh and you are not getting the back." I spoke waving his pants ear and he laughed.

"Okay!"

I made my way outside to the line of trees the closer I got the stronger the scent grew. Once I was right in front of the trees I spoke.

"Come out" and a pure black wolf exited the trees with golden eyes boring into mine.

I reached out to touch him but I pulled back when my thoughts spoke to me telling me he does not belong to me and saw the sadness in his eyes when I did. Well, I think it was but maybe I was just seeing things. Why is this so hard. I mean why did I have to get a thirsty Alpha, why did he have to get a girlfriend like her. Why did they look so good together. Why couldn't I be normal. Why couldn't my life be normal.
