Chapter 9: Hard to Get

Jayce POV:

I don't know how long I have been running after them but I couldn't stop. I was determined that I was going to talk to her tonight. I want her not Aura and I was going to for fill my promise.

Soon enough I did not recognize my surroundings. I knew I was crossing the borders but I needed to talk to Athena at all costs. Entering further in their pack I saw a big house appearing in the distance. That had to be the pack house and the car started to slow down. Finally, thank you Goddess I was getting a little tired of running.

I saw the car enter the drive way of the pack house and I kept my distance in the forests tree line. I watched them exit the car and waited for Athena to exit.

Alpha and Luna Gray exited first and ran into the house in panic. Their son exited next holding his sister in his arms bridal style quickly going into the house. Man, I really need to learn their names. Why is everyone in a panic though. What is going on?

Finally Athena exited the car but she did not go inside. Instead she stood next to the car before turning around to the line of trees where I was. She knew I was here.

I saw her raise her hand in the air before walking inside. I didn't know what she meant by that but then I saw her exiting the house five minutes later in sweats. Thank you Goddess for giving me a mate like Athena. I swear she looked good in anything she wore and I only saw her in two outfits. I would love to see her in less but damn she looked sexy.

She started walking over to the trees where I was hiding in the shadows. I was still in wolf form and my pure black fur was blending in my surroundings which was helpful to not be seen. I also hid my scent so the Alpha and Luna would not sense me to send warriors to attack me or anything but because she is my mate she could sense me.

"Come out." She order me. Well this is going to be so much fun.

I came out from the trees and walked straight towards her. My golden wolf eyes staring straight into her hazel ones.

She reached out to touch me but stopped. 

"No, why won't she touch us?" Enzo whined.

"I don't know but we will fix this."

I know this sound weird that we want her touch us so bad but she is my, our mate. I want to touch her, fuck. I want to much more than touch, pleasure, claim her. I want to make her happy, smile, laugh. I want nothing more than to love her and for to do the same.

She walked passed me and placed a sweat pants on a tree branch walking back in front of me and turning around so I could change. I chuckled a little and walked behind the tree. Shifting and putting on the sweats. It smelt like the dude she was dancing with. I could smell his scent on her to and it was so frustrating. Did he touch her?

Before I could even ask her. She got straight to the point so feisty.

"What are you doing here and what do you want?" She asked.

"Well, I want my mate and I came to see her." I spoke approaching her from behind. Damn that ass. I could see that her body tensed to my closeness and the sound of my voice before she relaxed again. 

"Your mate is at your pack remember. Your mom and her made that very clear that she is your girlfriend, mate and Luna." She spoke turning around to face me.

"And they are wrong. You know they are wrong. You are my mate. You are mine Athena." I raised my voice a little.

"I am not yours! You don't own me I am not an object you can claim." She countered.

"Okay, I am sorry about that you belong with me. I now you want me as I want you. I want you Athena." I pulled her close to me pressing our bodies together and I felt the sparks between us. I felt her melt a little in my arms till she caught her self and tried to pull away. I love the way of affect I had on her body. " I know you can feel them too. Just be mine baby all mine." I whispered in her ear nibbling a little on her ear.
