Daryl told you about what had happened with the prisoners. You didn't care about the ones staying in the other cell block. You hadn't gotten a good sleep that night, the events of what happened to your dad played back. Daryl was worried about you, but you couldn't help it.

"Me, Glenn, and Rick are gonna go get some fire wood." Daryl said "You should try and sleep."

"I can't." You said simply "I'll just do something to occupie my mind."

"Hey." Daryl said, his hand on your cheek "You saved him, he's alive because of you."

You smiled at him, taking in his words.

You hanged with Lori and Carl that day. You had found a stethoscope, you told Lori you would hear the baby with it.

"It's got a strong heartbeat." You said "Carl you want to listen."

A smile was plastered to his face as you handed him the thing. His face was of aw as he listened.

"Wow." Carl said, handing it back.

You look over and see Beth and Maggie helping Herschel out of the cell block. A smile was bright on your face. You had heard Glenn yell "Way to go Herchel!" which made you smile wider. 

"Walkers!"

You smile dropped once hearing that. You looked behind you to a heard, taking out your gun.

"C'mon." You said, guiding Carl and Lori.

You close the door behind them. You didn't spot any walkers in the building, but something worse had happened as an alarm went off. 

"No, no." Lori said "Not now."

Your face paled, Lori was in labor and there were walkers everywhere outside.

"Lori, it's going to be over soon. Alright." You said, rubbing her back.

"I can feel it. Help me get my pants off." Lori said "This baby is coming and it's coming fast."

You helped her and checked to see how far along she was. She was right she said the baby was coming fast, but not in the way it should be.

"Lori don't push." You said "It's a breech."

"No, god." Lori said "No."

Lori layed on the ground. You both knew what was going to happen and you knew what she wanted.

"Listen to me, you need to save this baby not me." Lori said, you only nodded "Carl, baby. You are gonna beat this world."

They shared a quick hug, once separated Lori gave you a nod. You took out your knife with shaky hands.

"I'm sorry." you said, before cutting.

You flinched at the screaming, Carl was begging you to stop, and it was breaking your heart. The screams had stopped, and you knew what happened, but you fought the tears. It wasn't long until you reached the baby, you patted its back until you heard it crying. It was a girl.

"Carl, we need to leave." You said, standing and wrapping the baby in something.

"We can't leave her like this." Carl said "Go, I'll be there in a second."

You walked away from Lori and Carl, the fire of the gun had made you jump. You opened the door once Carl was back. You saw the group right away and slowly made your way. Carl was ahead of you. The group saw both of you, but everyone's eyes was on you and the baby.

"Lori?" Rick asked.

You shook you head, he looked at Carl before breaking down. Daryl was by you in a second and held you. You ended up crying in his chest. Herschel said the baby was fine, but she needed to eat or she won't make it.

"No way, not her." Daryl said "Gonna make a supply run."

"I'll go with you. " Maggie said "I know were a nursey is. It's also packed, we have to take the bike."

"Glenn you watch her." Daryl said.

Glenn nodded as he guaided you inside the cell block. You gave the baby to Beth and wen't to lay down.
