You packed up everything, you had decided to pack up for an ambush. At least for most of the group, you decided to stay with Maggie and Glenn with defending. Maggie and Glenn also had gotten married last night.

You waited hiding behind the wood panels. The Governor and his men were here, they made themselves known and know you were just waiting. Once they made it outside, you took your opportunity an started firing. The men ran away from the gun shots, but you saw a few of them dropping. Once you knew they had left, you took the helmets off.

"We did it!" Maggie yelled.

Rick, Daryl, and Michonne came out, Glenn followed them.

"We end this today!" Rick yelled "You three stay here incase he comes back, we'll handle it."

You watch as your husband leaves. It was over and you new it, there was no way the governor and his people were gonna be back for after today. But there was still doubt it your mind.

"Y/n, you alright?" Maggie asked.

"Yea, let's get everything unpacked." You said.

The sun was going down when they were back. But they had brought the whole Woodberry town with them. You stared in amazement, Rick explained what happened with the Governor and Andrea, even though you never really liked her you were still sad that she had died.
You and Daryl gotten into your cell, cuddling.

"How do you feel about this?" You asked.

"Think it's gonna work out." Daryl said "Side's Rick know what he's doing."

"Yea." You said "You want a family right."

Daryl nodded his head looking right at you.

"Do you think the prison is safe enough to have that?" You asked "Or if you had still wanted one?"

"Course I still want one with ya, stupid question. But why ya asking?" Daryl asked, sitting up.

You pulled out something in your pocket, Daryl took it and saw the plus. Looking back at you, your face was of concern. He pulled you close.

"I ain't gonna let nothing happen to you or the baby." Daryl said.

You smiled at his words, kissing him.

"I gotta tell the gang. I'll be back." You said getting up.

"Just go tell your family, I got the rest." Daryl said, following you out.

"Beth, could you go get dad." You said.

You watch has she made mad her way out of the cell block. Your nerves gotten the better of you as you fiddled with your fingers.

"Everything alright?" Glenn asked "Do I need to leave?"

"No, you stay. Your apart of this family." You said "You married into this."

"She's right, just be quiet and let her talk." Maggie said "Don't Ned to make her more nervous."

Beth helped Herschal into his seat. You stared at your family wondering if this was the right choice. Hoping that they will believe it is also. But you also know that they won't let anything happen.

"Daryl and I are...." You said "Having a baby."

"What!" Maggie yelled "Your gonna be a mom."

"I can't wait." Beth said "Judith definitely needed a friend her age."

"Daryl's gonna be a dad..... That's gonna be awesome." Glenn said "Man that baby's gonna have the best dad ever."

Herschel smiled up at you, joy to be a Grandpa.

Maggie and Beth had gotten up and grabbed your hands. Knowing that whatever the future had to come they were gonna be their with you, through it all. Daryl had walked in with Rick and Carol, both with smiles and Daryl had a look of prided.
"You know if its a boy, Rick ain't a bad name." Rick said.
Carol swatted at him, but gave you a hug. Rick also gave you a hug and would help you if needed. You knew that this is the best decision you could have made.
Especially with your family by your side.
*This one isn't the best chapters that I've made, but I writing at least. Just know I am working on more chapters and a new darylxreader storie. Don't really have a tile, but any suggestions would be welcomed!
