Daryl didn't talk to anyone the rest of the night, he made sure to feed you and Austin. He told you about Beth and how you were split up. Some hope filed your heart for her and that she was alive still.

"Well find her, I know we will." Y/n said "We just need to find the others and leave."

"Thats gonna be hard to do." Daryl said "There's alot more of them then us."

"So, we can handle them." Y/n said.

"Not you." Daryl said "You're not doing anything right now."

"I'll be fine. I know your worried, but I promise everything is fine" Y/n said "The baby is fine also."

Daryl nods and put his hand on your stomach. He knew that it would be fine, at least for tonight. But when the new day comes, he's not so sure. He just wants to keep his family safe. He held both of you close as you both slept.

The morning was pleasant. Daryl went hunting, he came back angry with half a rabbit. He didnt want to explain what had happened, he made sure to cook it and give it to you and Austin, but you forced him to eat some as well. Trouble followed after though.

"You asshole, you took my rabbit!"

You all had looked at Lenny, he was fuming. None of you knew what he was talking about, the only rabbit you had was what Daryl had.

"Didn't take the rabbit." Daryl said, standing up.

"Well it's not in my bag, so you had too!" Lenny said "Or it was that damn boy of yours!"

"Don't yo-"

"Hey, let's just calm down." Joe said "Now what in the hell is going on?"

"Hey stole my half of the rabbit, he needs to be taught." Lenny said "We need to teach him all the way!"

"Now hold on, did you ask him? Did you see him take it or are you lying?" Joe said "You know what happens to liars."

"Well I ain't lying, check his bag." Lenny said.

Joe took Daryl's bag, opened, out came the other half. You, held Austin scared of what was to come next.

"Daryl, how did the rabbit get in their?"

"He put it in there when I went to piss!" Daryl said "Asshole."

Joe smiled at Daryl's response. He punch Lenny, making him fall.

"Tech him boys, teach him all the way!"

You covered Austin's eyes, but watched in horror how they beat their own people.

"I saw him slip the rabbit in." Joe said "I don't like liars. Well it's all yours now."

He patted Daryl's shoulder and smiled at you and Austin.

"You, gotta good man." Joe said before leaving.

Night fall came sooner than what you would like. Daryl didn't trust them any, not after Lenny. The plan was to sneak away somehow and hope that they wouldn't find you. They apparently find the guy that they were tracking, Daryl thought that was the perfect opportunity. But it wasn't until Y/n had pointed out that it was Rick, Carl, and Michonne. You knew that you couldn't just leave them.

"Hey hold just a minute." Daryl said, stopping Joe "Just hold up."

"Now Daryl, your stopping me on the count of 3." Joe said "And I don't like being stopped."

"These people, there good people." Daryl said "Your gonna let them go."

"Well, I have to disagree on behalf on Walter. Cause your friend here straggled him in a bathroom." Joe said "Everyone say there peace and well get on with it."

"You want blood. I get it." Daryl said throwing his stuff down on the ground "Take it from me ."
"What are you doing? Daryl don't!" Y/n said.
"Now, you see their it's a lie." Joe said "It's a lie!"
Daryl put his hands down before he gotten hit. You tried to get to him, someone had tackled you, pinning you to the ground. Austin was also on the ground beside you, a man had pulled Carl out of the van.
"Now we're gonna beat Daryl here, then the boys are gonna die, the girls will wish they did, and then we're gonna kill. Then we're even." Joe told Rick.
"It was just me! It was just me!" Rick yelled.
"Now that's right!" Joe laughed "It was just you, now that's not a damn lie!"
Everyone struggled with trying to fight back, but you all were weak without proper nutrition, but their was a gun shot. You all look to see Rick going up and holding onto Joe. Joe was just smiling and laughing... that was until Rick snicked his teeth into his neck. Rick ripped his neck out completely, spiting the flesh out he watch as Joe fell and bleed to death. This was the time that you guys were able to take care of the men. One of them was holding Austin hostage.
"Let him go!" You said, holding you gun.
"I got him." Rick said, covered in blood.
The man let Austin go, he ran straight to you, Carl was with Michonne. You covered Austin eyes and Rick had gutted the man, terrified at the sight. Daryl came over to make sure that you both were alright.

Morning had come, but you couldn't sleep. You watch as Michonne, Carl, and Austin slept. Daryl was out talking to Rick and keeping watch. It was decided that you all were going to terminis in hope to find the rest of your people. But there was no guarantee that you would find them, you can only hope.
