Dipper POV

"You'll never loose me," I say, hugging her back. "I'm going to find a way to make this relationship continue throughout the rest of the year." I reassure Wendy

She backs away, nods, and wipes the remaining tears from her cheeks.

Grunkle Stan walks in and wipes his forehead.

"Those tourists may be dumb, but they're a lot of work!" Stan exclaims. "Hey, I was thinking, and because the Scary Oke party was canceled, due to a little mishap," Stan pauses and glances at me and I look down in shame, "I think we should reschedule it to this weekend. Like Saturday. What do you guys think?"

Soos sprints into the room. "Did I hear something about a party? I call DJ!" He yells

"I call Karaoke Master!" Mabel calls out

Wendy and I remain silent.

"Wendy, Dipper, you two work the ticket booth," Wendy and I glance at one another and smile, "No PDA in front of the tourists!" Stan warns, noticing that we smiled at one another.

I blush and Wendy laughs.

"No promises!" She says and I blush harder

"Wait, Stan, it's Friday. And you want the party to be tomorrow? No one will know about it." I explain

"Kid, you always underestimate me. I'm having you go out and spread the word with flyers. Go staple them to the wooden power line posts." Stan orders

"Fine," I say, and grab the flyers out of Stan's hand "can Wendy come with me?" I ask

"Sure. Just don't scare the customers with your PD-" I cut Stan off
"Yeah okay bye!" I grab Wendy's wrist and run towards the door, sick of Stan saying PDA just because it makes me blush.

Stan gets such a kick out of me, a 12 year old dork, dating Wendy, a 15 year old 'cool kid'. It gets really irritating sometimes.

"So, Dipper, where do you want to start?" She asks. "Huh?" I ask. It takes me a second to realize what she's talking about. Then I remembered the real reason we came out here was to hang flyers.

"Oh! Let's start near the bowling alley, then work our way to the tattoo parlor, then the diner, then back to the shack."

"Sounds good!" She agrees

It becomes quiet and I begin thinking how Wendy and I have only been on one date. I should probably ask her to the Scary Oke rescheduled dance but how will I do that and make it all romantic?

I ponder the question then an idea sparks. "Hey Wendy, on our way back can we stop at the grocery store? I'm getting a little hungry." I explain

"Sure, Dip! That's fine by me!"

We begin to hang fliers for the party and talk about all of the Mystery Hunts we've been on. I explain the whole "time-traveling" thing to her. How I redid that day at the fair so many times. I know she's heard me say this story several times before, but I always enjoy the comments she adds during the story. My favorite is when she says "awww" when I tell the part that I go back to the other present just to make Mabel happy.

We were finished hanging the fliers in no time. I tell Wendy to wait outside. That way I can run into the grocery store and get her a surprise to make my invitation to the dance romantic. I run inside, grab the prettiest bunch of roses I can find, grab some snacks (because I was really hungry), pay, then go back outside.

"Two questions. What did you buy? And can I have some?" She asks, obviously hungry also

"One question," I begin, pulling out the roses, "will you go to the Scary Oke Dance with me?" I ask, blushing

She smiles, laughs, takes the flowers, then hugs me.
"Of course I will, dork."

I blush, laugh and then answer her question. "Goldfish."

"Wait what?" She asks

"I bought goldfish. Let's go to Look Out Point and eat them." I recommend

"Okay! Sounds like a plan!"

Look Out Point is only a few minutes away from the grocery store, so we arrive shortly. We sit down, and enjoy the view. At this time, the sun is beginning to set, making the whole sky a nice orangey- pinkish- yellow.

"It's beautiful, isn't it." Wendy asks

I look at her

"Yes, yes you are," I reply. She looks at me and smiles, "oh wait you meant the sky!" I say blushing

"You're too sweet." She pulls me in and kisses me. I feel sparks fly as I kiss her back.

"I love you." She says

"I love you, too." I reply

And we enjoy the rest of the sunset together, talking, laughing and eating goldfish.
