Neither of us were beyond excited to start school as we imagined it to be. There was still so much to worry about, so many strings hanging that seemed to have no end.
"Here we are guys..."
Yeji was the one to drop us off at the place, Seojun tagged along as well. He wouldn't be here as often as the rest of us since he was an idol, but he would show up and expect to be treated like the rest of the students...normal.
Suah, Khyia, and i all shared looks with each other before waving goodbye to the duo that encouraged us to attend school, and making our way to the main office.
_____________"You wouldn't happen to be the girls involved in the-"
"It would be nice if you didn't say it out loud sir."
"You know you will be put into different homerooms to keep our students safe, right?"
"Keep you students-"
"We did what we did as self defense!"
"Would you rather not be enrolled at all?"
I turned to the activist that protests almost every false assumption. "Khyia, tape your mouth right now. We're totally fine with that, right guys?"
"..right."
"Then it's settled. I'll take you all to your homerooms."
_______________We walked the halls with plently of questionable stares. Do the students already know about the insident?
"Seren?"
I looked at Khyia. "Hmm?"
"What if our story is on the news already?"
"They said that we were anonymous."
"Face it guys, they just blur faces and call it a day. I'll see you at lunch...hopefully."
Suah was guided into her homeroom and we were later taken to two other halls and guided in as well. It sucked that they separated us as such, but it's for the best. Right now anyways. We can hold our own for now. Everyone's scared of us anyway.
_________________Khyia's POV...
Was i going to have a panic attack? Yes. Why?
I was purposely put into one of the lowest ranked classes full of what i can guess to be..dilinquents?
The second i sat down in front, mostly because that was the only seat there, i felt eyes shoot holes into me. Breathing exercises weren't actually helping.
"Hey. You can't walk in here without introducing yourself. You think you're better than us or something?"
"S- sorry." I stood up and looked around at all of them. "My name is Mekhyia."
"You came from Amerca?"
"America? Yes."
To my surprise, they all just nodded and went about their lives.
Maybe i could be invisible.
_____________Seren's POV...
The second i walked in, the teacher asked if i could introduce myself. I nodded and gave a gentle smile before facing everyone.
"내 이름은 평온입니다. 나는 미국에서 왔습니다. 한국은 이번이 처음이고 가장 친한 친구와 함께 살고 있습니다."
(My name is Serenity. I came from America. This is my first visit to Korea and i live with my best-friend.)"한국어 잘하시네요."
(your Korean is good)I nervously chuckled. "감사 해요"
(thank you)I got a good seat right in the middle and a few girls surrounded me asking questions like what i used for my hair and how i got a shape like mine. I didn't know how to react at first but the questions had gotten simpler and more comfortable to answer.
Everyone was fairly nice, i think i memorized almost half of their names which was a good start since it was my first day. I wanted to make a good impression.
___________"Okay so spill, how's class going?"
"I'm invisible."
"I am...definitely not invisible."
Suah gave the both of us a confused look as she eyed both of us. "What happened to details?"
"Oh! Yeah they asked me a lot of questions about my hair and what i liked to do. The teachers are nice to me too." That's all that happened though, i was introduced to plenty of people in different homerooms because they were friends with people in mine, but that made no difference to anything.
It was nice, but boring since Khyia wasn't there to make jokes with me.
"I didn't introduce myself because they were fighting and when i sat down the bell rang and they stopped. Then had the audacity to stare bullets until i did only to continue on with their day."
"Oh wow. Your class sounds like high school."
"I think it's the worst class. They look like they are good enough to be here, but are hiding a LOT of secrets."
"Well, we still have each other after school?"
"What does it matter. If it's going to be like this then we might as well not go to college."
"That's no good enthusiasm now is it?" We all turned to a figure that invited themselves to our area. It was male, with strong cologne.
From the looks of it we all held our breath for a while.
"...who are you?"
"Can you please leave?" What's this? Suah knows him?
My brows furrowed and Khyia raised one of hers. We knew she was social and knew a lot of people, but never did we think she'd know someone like...him.
"I'm sorry darling, but no. You ditched us for new faces?"
"No, i'm only doing my job as the face of this school, so please leave is be."
"As the face shouldn't they be introduced? Not hidden."
"Han, i get that you're....whatever you are but they need to know the school before they know the students."
"Wow...that's the smartest thing you've thought of, but please use the idea for the next group of foreigners."
He tapped her shoulder and walked away with a cocky smile and she groaned highly annoyed.
"Suah? Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Just be mindful of the dumbasses roaming around here."
