The sight, hearing, and smell stayed with me from my first transformation. My teeth are a little sharper as well although not that noticeable.
Transforming for Draco was hilarious when I first got back to the manor. I was about to Sev's hip when I transform so imagine Draco's surprise when I turned into a wolf about the height of his chest.
However, he was thrilled so much that he researched the type of wolf. Turned out my animagus is the Mackenzie Valley wolf the biggest wolf in the world.
After spending the rest of the summer together. With fun nightly adventures but that came to an end too soon.
Third-year was starting. Our supplies were bought, packed, and all that was left to do was get onto the Hogwarts express.
I was prepared for the adventures this year would bring us. Boarding the scarlet train the folds of my black dress swayed as I walked. Medusa stayed on my left forearm as always although now visible through the tule sleeves. My hair was up in a high ponytail, my snake necklace showing proudly on my chest, and on my hand various silver rings. Some plain, some jeweled, and others with the subtle wolf and snakes.

Pansy and Daphne are already in a compartment.
"Looking more and more like royalty, Florry" Pansy remarked as I sat beside her and Daphne. I gave her a look "and we, your humble ladies of the court" Pansy said getting up and curtsying. Daphne followed along laughing.
I chuckled going back into my reserved self they were used to. Draco looked amused, along with Blaise, and Theo.
"and how are you my fair prince and his trusty knights" Pansy joked sitting back down.
Theo laughed "just fine, my fair lady"
"You take this whole school calling us Slytherin Royals too seriously, Parkinson," Draco said though I could see his smile. He too like the rest of us found it amusing.
"I know you like it, Malfoy" Pansy smirked "it brings a certain reputation does it not" she leaned back and crossed her legs like a proper lady.
"That it does" Blaise smiled lightly.

The ride was peaceful with laughs and catching up. But the trained slowed into one of Theo's jokes. Draco and I being the closest to the windows looked out. The glass was icing over and we could see our breaths. Next, the lights flickered out, and out of instinct, I grab my wand in my pocket. Daphne and Pansy cling together as we await something to happen.
A dark figure floated by pausing by our door. It looked through the glass and I feel like staring me down. A boney hand appears to open the door my grip on my wand tightens as I try and find a spell that may work on a being that's clearly not human.
luckily its attention gets snapped to a place further down the train and it leaves. I take a deep breath in relief my grasp on my wand relaxing slightly.
Draco sent me an 'are you ok' look which I nodded slightly to.
'you?' I mouth.
he gave one stiff nod.
A flash of white and I once again see the dark figures thrown off the train. A moment later the lights flickered back on and the train started moving.
"Bloody hell" Daphne whispered
"Way to give us a heart attack" Pansy added
"They must be looking for Serius Black" Theo states looking into the hall.
"Here at Hogwarts?" Daphne's voice was still a whisper
"Rumor has it he going after Potter... finish off the job he started" Blaise spoke up looking somewhat shaken.
"Good luck getting past Dumbledore," I said sarcastically. "Potter's his golden boy"
~~~ It was peaceful for the rest of the ride. People talked lowly and walked carefully like a dementor would jump out at any given moment.
Murmurs of Harry Potter fainting moved around fast. Causing us a few chuckles from Slytherin.
Getting to the Great Hall and sitting at the Slytherin table the side closest to the Gryffindors.
"Welcome! Welcome to another yearat Hogwarts! I have a few thingsto say" I prepare myself for yet another speech "before we become befuddledby our excellent feast. I myselfam particularly looking forward tothe flaming kiwi cups, which,while somewhat treacherous forthose of us with facial hair..." McGonagall gave him a look and cleared her throat. The clear sign to get back on topic. "Mm. Yes. First, I'm pleased towelcome Professor R.J. Lupin, whohas kindly consented to fill thepost of Defense Against the DarkArts. Good luck to you,Professor... As some of you may know, ProfessorKettleburn, our Care of MagicalCreatures teacher for many years,has decided to retire in order tospend more time with his remaininglimbs. Fortunately, I'm delightedto announce that his place will befilled by none other than our ownRubeus Hagrid!" Slytherin politely clapped while rolling their eyes.
Then Dumbledore turned serious. I've never seen him look so grave "Finally, on a more disquietingnote, Hogwarts"
Draco nudged me "willing to play along?" he asked in my ear his hot breath sending shivers.
I narrowed my eyes at his pleading eyes "fine" I hissed
"on my signal feign fainting" His eyes gleamed mischievously
"at the requestof the Ministry of Magic -- will,until further notice, play host tothe Dementors of Azkaban."
Draco caught the eye of Potter. Crabbe and Goyle pretended to be Dementors and Draco tapped my thigh under the table and dramatically I put the back of my hand on my forehead before collapsing slightly, Draco 'catching me' and he to fake trembling.
Pushing me upwards we all laughed as Weasley sent us a glare making us laugh even more.
"The Dementors will be stationed atthe entrances to the grounds. Whilethey are under strict orders not toenter the castle itself, you will onoccasion see them as you go aboutyour daily activities. Under nocircumstances are you to approachthem. It is not in the nature ofa Dementor to be forgiving."
