I woke up early despite being up late at night with Draco.

A black dress was already set out for me and after a cool shower, I slipped it on grateful that it was one of the comfier dresses I owned.

I put on the necklace Draco gave me last night and the throwing knives were nicely tucked under my skirt. Most likely unnecessary but I wanted to feel cool even though no one would see them.

I slipped on my black flats and Winky did my hair again but did an elegant bun leaving a few pieces to frame my face.

I knocked on his door "wakeup and get a move on sleepy head! We're going to Diagion Alley!"

I peaked my head through the doors to see Draco jump up out of bed and scramble to get ready.
Shaking my head I left time go down stairs.

"Good morning" I beamed up at Uncle Sev and Aunt Cissy. Luckily Lucius had to go for ministry work. Which made me happy meaning there wasn't a chance for him to dampen the mood.

"Good Morning, dear. Once Draco's down we can go" Aunt Cissy spoke kindly and more relaxed since her husband wasn't here.

I nodded vigoriously also more relaxed since the long white haired monster was out of the house.

"Eat" Uncle Sev shoved an apple in my direction.

"Thanks" I grabbed it and taking a bite.

I got about half way done with the apple when Draco came barrelling down the stairs.

Draco eyed the apple in my hand and I subly handed it to him when we were following our adult supervision to the fireplace. Looking greatful he scarfed down the other half and disposed of the core somewhere along the way.

Aunt Cissy went with her son and I went with Uncle Sev.

Arriving I couldn't help but grin as I took in the sight of bustling street.

"First stop robes" Aunt Cissy directed as Sev followed us like a shadow.

We got fitted and bought our robes, books were next, then picking out a pet or two. We've been told all our lives that witches and wizards can have familiars. Animals besides what delivers mail to us, although some have had their owls as familiars.

We both were definitly getting owls. We knew that much we just didn't know if we'd come across the animal we would be bonded to as it is 'love at first sight' sort of thing or so I'm told.

Almost immediately Draco spot's an eagle owl. "I want him" he points. Aunt Cissy smiles and nods gesturing to the store owner.

I walk around through the shelves of owls. Draco's already looking at the other animals.

Then there at the end, I spot a sooty-looking great horned owl. He looks at me curiously and I smile lightly. I like him he's a bit different from the other sleek-looking owls.
