Once Romanoff was back in her own body, we walked to the lab I said in a soft tone,"I think that was only part of his plan."

"What?"

"He wanted us to know that, to distract us,"I said picking my palms.

Romanoff just shook off my theory as we continued to head toward the lab. Banner and Stark were working when Romanoff spoke up,"Loki's manipulating you."

"No, Loki manipulated you Romanoff,"I protested shaking my head,"how would he manipulate Banner if he hasn't talked to him at all."

"I believe Lady Sabrina is correct,"Thor spoke up,"she was telling me how she believes Loki is possessed."

Scoffs were heard around the room and I stuttered out,"it would explain a lot! His eyes are the same color as Barton's or anyone else who was put under control, and Thor confirmed that his eyes aren't icy blue!"

"Of course you would know this, spending a lot of time gazing into his eyes are we,"Stark said with a smirk.

"Now I know how Klaus feels,"I muttered under my breath, before I looked up to Stark with fists closed in anger," how do I know, because I was cursed with the powers of a witch and I know the signs of someone who is under control, so don't underestimate my knowledge. I just want to get this up and over with!"

"What are you doing Mr. Stark?"

"Kind of been wondering the something about you," I snapped getting anger by the second.

"The three of you were supposed to be finding the Tesseract,"Fury snapped.

"What is Phase 2," I say reading over what Stark's screen is showing.

But before anyone can say anything Rogers drops a riffle with a furious expression on his face before saying,"Phase 2 is SHIELD using the cube to make weapons,"then he turns to Stark with a sassy tone,"Sorry, the computer was moving a little slow."

Fury opened his mouth to speak up but Banner turned to Romanoff,"did you know about this?"

"Do wanna think about removing yourself from this environment, doctor?"

"I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy. I'd like to know why SHIELD is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction."

It was a moment of silence before Fury pointed at Thor,"Because of him. Last year, earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone, but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned."

"My people want nothing but peace with your planet. You're work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is the signal to all the realms that the earth is ready for a higher form of war."

That's what sunk into my head, if this really is a signal to all the realms who else would be a threat? I started spiraling back to my theory of Loki being brainwashed, who was the puppet master behind Loki's mind control? The last straw for me was when I saw the stop in Loki's scepter glow brighter, so I rushed out of the room heading straight toward Loki's cell.

The door opened and stormed in my hands clenched so tightly into fists I could feel my nails cutting into my skin.

"My, my, little witch, what's got you in a twist?"

"What are you playing at," I said through clenched teeth.

"What ever do you mean,"Loki asked in an innocent tone, but with psychotic smile on his face.

"Cut the bullshit, you wanted this to happen! Starting with you being taken in, then faking the shock when being interrogated by Romanoff and planting that idea of what your plan was. Who is controlling you Loki?"

Loki's whole psychotic demeanor stopped as I could see his eyes widen in horror, letting me see the ice blue in his eyes turn into a faded blue. Before I could do anything else a boom was heard in the distance and a roar followed along.

My eyes widened as I turned to where the sound came from,"it was all a distraction,"I whispered the thought just coming to me.

As I turned around to see if I was right or not, only to come face to face to Loki who grabbed me by throat, squeezed my neck, leaning closer so I could feel his breath on my face he whispered,"that's right little witch. Those buffoons never saw it coming,"he let out a low maniacal laugh before making direct eye contact with me,"but you did. You were clever, cleverer then they all thought and you were unravelling it all. Perhaps you could be of use, he would like your cleverness little witch. Maybe you could be a grand asset to him."

He squeezed my neck even harder and I was starting to black out.

"Loki, please,"I gasped out, tears forming in my eyes before my vision started going dark.

For a moment, I swore I heard Thor letting out a warrior cry, then everything went silent.
