Never in my life have I been glad something was over. Once we had detained Loki, the staff was handed to Alexander Pierce seemed kind off shady in my opinion but not my problem. Funny enough, Stark suffered some sort of heart attack but Thor just gave him a little tase and he was okay, who knew that extreme problems like these could have a simple solution. We ended up getting the Shawarma, it was good and I called Gabriel just to make sure he was okay and the apartment wasn't destroyed as well. Thankfully we didn't live that close to the city so our apartment was untouched.
It was a few weeks after fighting who would get the tesseract and the scepter but Thor would get the tesseract and Alexander Pierce and his sketchy group would get the scepter. Then came the time for the two Asgardians to leave. I was ordered to be there and just avoided their gestures of kindness except Thor, serves them right for it considering all of this could have been avoided if they had just listened to me. But there was one person I needed to have a conversation with, while my illusion sat by the fountain I made my way toward Loki and removed his muzzle.
"Long time no see stranger."
"Yes because it's been miraculously a long time since I've tried to kill you,"he said in a sarcastic tone.
"Funny," I snorted and rolled my eyes,"you're just looking for another excuse to receive a kiss."
"Is that so," he said with that devilish smirk of his,"if I recall you were the one who kissed me."
"Well I had to find some way from preventing you to kill me in one of the worst ways possible," I said taking another step forward our noses almost touching.
Without warning, his lips were locked on mine and a little gasp flew out of my mouth before I melted into the kiss. My arms draped around his shoulders as we continued to kiss for a few minutes before I broke away not only before nipping his bottom lip.
"I always knew you were a fiesty little witch," he purred, struggling to hold my waist.
"You don't even know half of it my silver-tongued serpent," I whispered as I kissed him one last time before walking over to my illusion and letting the illusion drop, not before sending him a wink and started getting ready to walk away.
"Hocus Pocus where are you going," Stark asked.
"Home," I said with a frown," I have a dog and a cat waiting for me at home."
"Come on, we have to celebrate!"
This got to me, I stopped in before turning to face the other Avengers,"celebrate what? A mess that we made that could have been avoided if you have just listened to me,"silence filled the air and I still continued talking," I was forced to join because of my magic abilities yet you doubted me because he was obsessed with me. I could care less if it's a robot or someone trying to wipe out half of the world's fucking population, don't bother to contact me like ever,"once again I turned around to walk away only to turn back around and said," actually, Thor you were the only one who didn't doubt me, you get a hug."
I was gently wrapped into a hug,"thank you and farewell Lady Hargreeves."
After blowing Loki a kiss, I just sent Thor a nod and finally walked away and took the subway home.
The second I got home I was engulfed in a hug by Gabriel,"Jesus fuck I'm glad you're okay."
"Never thought you'd be this worried about me," I whispered as I buried my head in his shoulder.
"Are you kidding? Who else would look as pretty as you do when I need a model for my photography class?"
"Aww shucks Gabe, you always know what makes me blush,"I scoffed as I swatted his shoulder,"so anything new happen? How's Klaus?"
"He's alright, we hide out here when the attack occurred, and he came over yesterday, but something did happen,"he trailed of, picking at his hands.
"What the hell did you do,"I asked crossing my arms, a frown on my face.
"We adopted a pet," he blurted out after a while.
"WHAT?!"
"An iguana named Salazar."
I pinched my nose and threw my hands up in the air,"fine, FINE! Show me the newest addition."
We walked over to the living room to see a large tank with branches, plants and a small pond and Gabriel reached in to grab a medium sized iguana.

"Well this is Salazar, he's actually quite cuddly," Gabe said walking toward me," and he gets along with Salem and Selene."
He was placed in my arms only for him to squirm and place himself on my chest and I immediately fell in love and I let out a sigh,"I'll allow this, only because his tank doesn't get in the way of the living room and he gets along with Selene and Salem."
With knowing this, Gabe started cheering and pranced around the room, I just rolled my eyes and laid on the couch only to be surrounded by Selene and Salem and fell asleep, thankful that finally all of this superhero shit was over. Never would have I suspected that this was just the beginning to this traumatizing bullshit, and I was going to be dragged right into the middle of this mess.
