Jane basically had the same reaction as me, except words actually escaped her mouth

"Welcome to Asgard," Heimdall said to Jane before looking over at me and nods he head politely," Lady Sabrina."

"Heimdall," I say, returning the head nod, and snapped my fingers so that I'm in a dry and in a less wet outfit," much better," I mutter as I fluff my skirt up.

Thor takes both of us to the healer where they start to examine Jane who is laying on a table while, Thor and I stood in the corner watching.

"What's that," Jane asked with the curiosity of a child.

A hologram of Jane's body appeared and Thor spoke up when we saw the mysterious form that could be seen in the hologram,"this is not of Earth, what is it?

"We do not know, but she will not survive the amount of energy surging within her."

"That's a quantum field generator, isn't it," Jane said as she studied the hologram above

"It's a Soul Forge," the main healer Eir said.

"Does a Soul Forge transfer molecular energy from one place to another," Jane shot back only to receive a surprised look from Eir.

"Yes," Eir said, as she seemed more impressed about Jane.

Jane just turned to us with excitement and said,"it's a quantum field generator," receiving a smile from Thor.

"My words are mere noises to you that you ignore them completely," boasted Odin as he marched into the room.

"She's ill," Thor protested.

"She is mortal. Illness is their defining trait," Odin said as he motioned to me.

My jaw dropped as I walked over to Jane,"Look your majesty, as some one who knows about the medical world on Earth. She needs your help, this is no illness from Earth."

"She does not belong here in Asgard anymore than a goat belongs at a banquet table," Odin said before turning to me,"and neither do you."

"Who do you think you are," Jane scoffed as she sat up on the table.

"I'm Odin. King of Asgard. Protector of the Nine Realms."

This shut Jane up as she tried to muster out words, only to say,""Oh. Well, I'm-"

"I know very well who you are, Jane Foster."

"Something is within her, father, something I have not seen before," Thor says with worry

"Let the healers from her world deal with it. Guards, take her back to Midgard."

Before I could finish my warning, the guards approached her and

"Don't touch her, Thor tired to warn, but the guards are thrown back,"Jane, are you alright?"

She just weakly nods, while Odin observes the energy and recognizes it.

"That's impossible," Odin whispers out

"The infection, it's defending her," Eir concludes.

"No, it's defending itself," I clarify.

"Come with me," Odin says, and we follow him to the library,"there are relics that predate the universe itself. What lies within her appears to be one of them. The Nine Realms are not eternal. They had a dawn as they will have a dusk,"he show us an ancient book," but before that dawn the dark forces, the Dark Elves, reigned absolute and unchallenged."

"Born of eternal night, the Dark Elves comes to steal away your light," Thor read from the book before looking up at Odin,"they were these stories mother told us as children."

"Their leader, Malekith made a weapon out of that darkness, it was called the Aether. While the other relics often appeared as stones, the Aether is fluid and ever changing. It changes matter into dark matter and seeks out to host bodies, drawing strength from their life force. Malekith sought to use the Aether's power to return the universe to one of darkness. But after eternities of blood shed, my father Bor, finally triumphed, ushering in the peace that lasted thousands of years."

"What happened," I ask.

"He killed them all," Odin said bluntly, making my eyes widen.

"Are you certain? The Aether was said to have been destroyed with them and yet here it is," Thor asks.

"The Dark Elves are dead,"Odin confirms.

"Does your book happen to mention how to get it out of Jane," I ask motioning to the book.

"No, it does not," he says before closing it, and putting it back on its shelf.

As we leave the library, I see a couple of Thor's friends taking people to the dungeon and my heart leaps as I think of Loki.

Calm down, I tell myself, he's in prison for a reason.

But I couldn't help it, I turned to the couple," Thor why don't you show Jane around Asgard?"

"What about you Lady Sabrina?"

"I'll be fine Thor, I'll probably be in the library some more, or follow your mom around."

"Why would you be with my mother," Thor said with a confused look on his face.

"Hey," I said pointing my finger at Thor,"your mom is the most kickass women that I know, apart from my own mom. You better appreciate her Thor," I said before marching back to library.

I read a book before cautiously making my way to Loki's cell where I use my magic to look past his poorly cast illusion, and there he was, curled up in the corner of the room, everything was scattered around as he silently sobbed.

"Oh Loki,"I whispered out, my heart breaking at the sight.
