You sat down and explained your experience from the night before, in as much detail as you possible could.
"I see..." Jotaro looked to be deep in thought. You awkwardly sat in silence, feeling pretty useless for not being able to identify the stand user in any way. "Y/n, this may seem like an odd thing to ask but, how did you get your stand?" Jotaro stared you, intent on getting an answer.
"I think I always sort of had it..." You trailed off. Was it as a kid? You couldn't remember exactly when it first manifested. "I never really used it until recently." You felt guilty about not investigating your stand's ability sooner, if you had, you might actually be able to do something helpful.
"Do your parents have stands or any other strange abilities?"
"Well..." you avoided Jotaro's eye contact, shifting in your seat. "My mother disappeared when I was little. I think when I was five or so? My father is a complete mystery. If either of them were stand users there isn't any way I would know."
Jotaro leaned back into his chair, seeming to be contemplating something.
"I have someone I think you should meet. He's a stand user like us and he may even be able to shine a light on your stand's ability."
"Meet?" You looked at Jotaro skeptically. "Like right now?"
"If it isn't any trouble."
"Actually, I feel like you need to explain a yourself better. No offense but I don't really know you. Yeah, you helped out yesterday, and I'm lucky as hell that you did, but other than that you're just some guy I met. For all I know you could be a kidnapper or something." The stand situation was a developing problem, and being new to such an environment made you vulnerable. You had made several mistakes already, you needed to be careful. Jotaro sighed. He looked tired, like he hadn't slept in a while. He slowly got up from the teacher's desk and made it so he was standing right in front of you.
"Your concern is warranted, but there have now been two violent stand users in the vicinity of your home. We need to find out what they're doing and why." Jotaro looked at you, almost pleadingly. "You seem to be at the center of this stand activity which as you've seen, can get dangerous."
"I-...." You trailed off. What real choice did you have? These stand users knew where you, and more importantly, where your mother lived. If you tried facing them on your own it definitely wouldn't end well. You were weary of Jotaro, but there was something about him that made you want to trust him. "I guess you're right." You relented.
"We don't have to see him right this second if you don't want to."
"I'll think about it. I need some time to process all that's happened. Just a few days ago my life was so... normal." You tiredly ran a hand down your arm, flinching slightly when you accidentally disturbed some of your many cuts and bruises.
"I understand." Jotaro nodded. "Do you still have that business card I gave you?"
"Yeah."
"Just give me a call when you have some free time." Jotaro stood up and started leaving the room.
"Wait...where are you going!?" You yelled after him.
"I'm going home." He said. "You coming?"
"H-hang on! Won't I get in trouble for leaving detention early?"
"You'll still be under my supervision for now. Plus, I'v never really given a damn about what teachers think." You were in disbelief at how flippant this guy could be, but you followed Jotaro out of the school nonet he less.
....................................................................................................
"If you don't mind me asking, what brings you to this area?" You were genuinely curious what would prompt someone like Jotaro to visit your small town.
