3rd person.

[Warren] "Enjoy. That's the last of the food."

Warren said as she gave everyone a Twinkie. It was their last food supply. Everyone munched on it except Kai. She didn't eat it at all. She just put it in her bag for later.

[Murphy] "God, I'm so hungry my big guts are eating my little guts. You gonna eat all of that?"

He asked 10k who was halfway done with his food. Murphy tried snatching it but 10k just stuffed it all in his mouth.

[Murphy] "Selfish little bastard"

Kai took her Twinkie and threw it towards Murphy. He caught it and nodded a thanks.

[Doc] "What you doing? Don't feed the animal. You will want that food later."

Kai just shook her head and went to walk around. She hasn't eaten for a while but she didn't feel hungry. 10k followed her since he was done eating.

[Warren] "We need to split up and look for food and water."

[Addy] "Oh if we look for a two way radio or even like a satelite dish, I can try contacting that Citizen Z guy."

[Garnett] "That's good. You and Mack do that. And the rest of us will look for food."

[Warren] "Doc you take Cassandra, and go look for Kai and 10k."

[Garnett] "Warren and I will take Murphy. Meet back in an hour."

Kai's pov.

I wasn't that hungry so I just gave my part of the food to Murphy just so he would shut up. He just nodded a thanks. I just shook my head and left off to walk somewhere. 10k was right after me.

I didn't stop but slowed down a bit so he could keep up. He ran up to me and we started walking in silence. It wasn't this awkward silence, it was the calming kind where you feel safe and protected.

Whenever I was with him I felt safe and relaxed. He seemed to be really calm, relaxed but I could see that he wanted to ask something.

"What did you want to ask?" I asked him, looking over at his face. He looked back and made a small smile.

"I know that it wasn't a cut. What actually happened?" I stopped in my tracks. He was the first to actually be interested about it. That surprised me.

I gulped and told him everything. He didn't interrupt or anything, he just listened. After I was done telling what happened he pulled me into a hug and he whispered "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring it up." I was surprised even more. I can't remember the last time I had hugged someone.

"It's okay you didn't know." I said as I hugged him back. Some short time after the hug we heard feet ruffling and we looked who it was. It was Doc and Cassandra. I didn't really like her because I knew she was hiding something. But since she is a part of the team I just have to bare her for a while. At least until she gives me a reason to rip her head off.

3rd person.

[Doc] "We were looking for you guys."

[Kai] "Sorry Santa I was telling my tragic story" Kai said with a giggle.

That made the rest laugh a bit and then Doc told them to look for a satelite dish.

*small time skip*

Kai and 10k went back to the car with the satelite dish they found while Doc tried looking for Cassandra who ran off. Kai had a gut feeling something is wrong with one of her teammates.

Once her and the boy made it back to the car there were only Garnett, Warren and Murphy. Warren and Garnett were talking about something while Murphy was trying to sleep in the car.

After 5 minutes Doc came back with Cassandra by his side. Kai gave her a death glare. She knew something is up. She just needed a sign and she will bust her head open without hesitation.

While they waited for the Wonder Twins Garnett and Warren were planning something. Murphy was just sitting in the car after failing his attempt to fall asleep. Doc was closely watching Cassandra so she doesn't run off again and kai and 10k were just chit-chatting.

After 10k found out where her scars came from he made her a promise to make sure that nothing like that never happens again. They were getting closer and closer to each other. Kai also started to talk with the team more because she felt like they can be trusted.

Kai was thankful for 10k. She really started to like him just like the boy started to like Kai. The rest of the team noticed that too and already started making bets about if they will get together or not. The odds were 4:2 that they will get together.

Mack came running towards Cassandra. He showed her a clip of Addy getting kidnapped. She then tried to run off again but Kai was quicker and held her sniper against her head.

[Kai] "One sudden movement and your brain will be blown out"

As Kai said that with gritted teeth Cassandra stopped immediately and started crying. After her explaining everything while crying Warren made up her mind: They are going after Addy.
