Kai's pov.

"I think I'm in love with you." 10k had said and I just kept looking at him.

"I think I'm in love with you too" I said as I leaned a bit closer. He leaned a bit in too.

I kept leaning in until Warren stopped the car. Great timing sister.

I giggled as I stood up. The rest of the team got out of the car as they heard me giggle. Everyone looked at me and I stopped giggling. I know its not a common thing to hear me giggle or see me smile.

"Ahem...Sorry" I said and jumped out, my smile and giggle disappearing.

I could practically hear their smirk's. I rolled my eyes and looked around.

3rd person.

[Addy] "Amish zombies. Really?"

[Garnett] "They tried to quarantine themselves from the rest of society."

The team kept talking as 10k and Kai went off to somewhere quiet. The team knew that something was between them and they just kept quiet.

10k's pov.

I walked next to Kai. She was pretty short compared to me. It just made her cute. I looked back and noticed that we are pretty far from the rest and that they wouldn't see us really well.

"Well we didn't finish something in the back of the truck" I said as I turned towards her. She had a small smile on her face. God what did I do to deserve her?

She looked up to me due to the height difference and I leaned closer to her. She leaned all the way in this time and locked her lips to mine. I closed my eyes and kissed back. I had my arms on her waist pulling her in and deepening the kiss. She wrapped her arms around my neck.

After some short time we heard cheering. I got confused and quickly pulled away from her. It was our team looking at us. I blushed, looked at Kai and nodded my head our team's way. She nodded and we left off towards the rest.

They were whistling like wolves to moon. Great.

Kai's pov.

After the kiss I blushed slightly. I had learned to control my emotions so I knew how to hide it. Once we went back to the rest of the guys they were cheering for us. Addy pulled me into a hug which surprised me so much that I just stood there without a single idea on what to do. She let me go and I just hopped in the back of our truck.

10k did the same and sat next to me. I looked to him as he did the same. We both started to giggle. He then took my hand and laced our fingers together. I didn't mind it.

Doc and Cassandra sat in the back with us this time. We kept talking some small talk as Garnett stopped the car.

10k let go off my hand and looked over the roof of the car. He looked down at me and nodded. I immediately understood and both of us jumped out of the car and ran to hide and get a good view of the situation.

3rd person.

[Murphy] "Is that more of your cannibal friends?"

[Cassandra] "No. Something else."

[Warren] "Up ahead!"

10k and Kai ran to hide.

[Doc] "Hey! Kids!" Doc shouted as he shook his head.

As Warren and Garnett had a little brainstorm of ideas the rest examined the 'pretend-to-be-z'.

[Cassandra] "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Something's wrong.

[Warren] "Yeah, she's right. Look at their feet.

As everyone examined the 'fake z's' a car pulled from behind them.

[???] "Hold it right there! Alright now drop your weapons or die where you stand." No one obeyed so he talked again.

[???] "Put down the weapons or eat brains!"

A Z approached the team and then everyone heard a gunshot. The Z fell to the ground with a hole right between its eyes.

Everyone knew it was Kai because all the Z's she shot ended up with a hole between the eyes. Never a single miss.

[Doc] "God I love her!"

[???] "Now we want just the vehicle. All right? So give us the truck and we will let you live to die another day."

[Murphy] "Give them the truck!" He said after being quiet all the time this robbery was happening.

[Warren] "Don't give them a goddamn thing!"

[Murphy] "Do the math Garnett. We have other priorities. Get them the damn truck."

[???] "Listen to your friend there. Nobody wants to die. But we're taking that truck."

[Murphy] "Say the word Garnett!"

After some quiet moment.

[Garnett] "Let them have it. The truck." He said after everyone was ready to attack.

[???] "Smart move. Alright guys, let's go. And leave the junker!"

The robbers that were in what they called 'the-junker' threw the team's stuff on the ground and just took off.

After 5 minutes Kai returned hand in hand with 10k. They looked dangerous together.

[Murphy] "Where the hell were you two? Having some 'fun'?" He said with a smirk.

Kai just took one of her knives and since Murphy was laying against a tree, she threw it a bit above her head and smirked.

[Kai] "So what? Jealous much?"

Everyone laughed and Murphy returned Kai her knife. She nodded and sat in the back of the junker on 10k's lap. They both talked a bit and shared some small kisses here and there. Doc was next to them third wheeling the new couple. Warren and Garnett sat inside the car. Murphy in between the two. Addy and Mack on the front where motor was and Cassandra was laid across their laps.
