I iced Jasper's face as it was still bleeding from Murphy's punch. Murphy was in the middle of devising a plan with his gang on what to do with Charlotte once they found her. Clarke and Finn had run off with her for protection. By night time, Murphy and his gang headed out into the forest while Bellamy and I went looking for her on our own.

"He's gonna kill her if we don't find her first." I panicked.

"You think I don't already know that?" Bellamy spat.

I scoffed. "I'm just worried, that's all."

"We're all worried, Y/n."

"I know it's just..."

Bellamy then hushed me to keep down as he thought her heard something. We heard the rustling of leaves and saw a figure walking not too far from us. We gave each other a nod and he ran up to grab the figure that turned out to be Charlotte. I suppose she had run away from Finn and Clarke. She screamed until she realized it was only us.

"Let me go!" She yelled at Bellamy.

"We're trying to help you." He explained.

"I'm not your sister!" She said. "Just stop helping me!" She then got loose of his grip and tried to run away. "I'm over here!" Bellamy then caught her again.

"Are you trying to get us all killed?"

"Just go, ok? I'm the one they want."

"Ok, Charlotte, listen to me." He began as he knelt down to meet her eyes. "I won't leave you. We won't leave you."

"Please." She tried running away again, but Bellamy threw her over his shoulders. "Murphy! I'm over here!" Shit. I think Murphy actually heard her that time as I saw the nearing torches. We continued to run until we found ourselves out a cliff. Bellamy dropped her to the ground and started to swear given our current situation and location.

Murphy and his group then found us.

"Bellamy! Y/n! You cannot fight all of us. Give her up."

"Maybe not, but I guarantee I'll take a few of you with me."

Clarke and Finn then found us.

"Bellamy! Stop!" Clarke yelled.

I joined her by her side. "She's right. This has gone too far. Just calm down. We'll talk about this."

Murphy looked back between Charlotte and I before grabbing me and holding a knife to my throat. "I'm sick of listening to you both talk."

"Let her go" Bellamy tried with fear in his eyes.

"I will slit her throat."

To think that 24 hours ago I was desperate enough for this man and now he was holding my life in his hands.

"No, please." Charlotte cried. "Please don't hurt her."

"Don't hurt her?" Murphy asked. "Ok, I'll make you a deal. You come with me right now and I'll let her go."

"Don't do it, Charlotte. Don't fucking listen to him!" She tried to walk forward, but Bellamy did what he could to stop her and hold her in place. "Don't do it!"

"I have to!" I cried before settling into place as Bellamy turned back to Murphy.

"Murphy, this is not happening." Bellamy explained.

"I can't let any of you get hurt anymore. Not because of me. Not after what I did." Charlotte explained before running off the edge of the cliff.

"Charlotte!" Clarke, Bellamy and I screamed as we ran to the side. Clarke continued to cry, but I was in too much shock to even do anything. Bellamy stood to his feet and attacked Murphy. He punched him with all the anger he had.

"Bellamy, stop!" Clarke yelled. "You'll kill him!"

"He deserves it." I mumbled to myself.

Finn then pulled him off of Murphy.

"Get off me! He deserves to die!"

"No! We don't decide who lives and dies!" Clarke explained. "Not down here."

It was decided that Clarke, Bellamy, and I would be the ones to make the rules from here on out if we wanted to survive. We couldn't just abide by whatever the hell we want. It was also decided that Murphy would be banished as punishment. Everyone then started to make their way back to camp as Murphy sat on the ground trying to process everything. As I started to follow behind Clarke, he called out to me. "Y/n...please don't leave me."

I kept walking even while kept screaming for me to come back.

I was finally able to not look back.

When we got back to camp, we explained the situation to everyone. We explained how new rules will be put forth and we also explained Murphy's banishment. Monty then told us there may be a way for us to contact the ark, but once we tried his hopeful plan, it failed. Now the entire Ark thinks we're all dead. We continue to strike out left and right. Finn stormed off frustrated as ever into the forest. Clarke followed after him to try and calm him down.

Throughout the night Jasper continued to ask me if I was alright with the whole situation with Murphy. I continued to lie to him saying I was fine, when really I wasn't. I was doing my best to act as mature as possible.

Suddenly, we all heard a loud crash, unsure of what it was. "Check it out!" Tyler announced.

"Bellamy! Get out here!" I shouted before Bellamy exited his tent with two other girls. He then made his way over to Octavia and I who were looking at the sky. "There!" I pointed at falling ship. "They're coming to help us" I mumbled to myself. Maybe all hope wasn't lost after all. When I looked over to Bellamy, he didn't hold the same excited smile as the rest of us. He actually looked...worried.

"We should get moving" Octavia advised.

Bellamy cut her off. "No one is going anywhere."

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"It's too dark out. It's not safe." He announced to everyone. "We'll head out at first light."

"Bellamy, everyone for 100 miles saw this thing come down. What if the grounders get to it first?" I asked. "We need to go now."

"I said we wait until sunrise."

"Bellamy..." I tried.

"Hey! You're not fucking the authority anymore. For once, you're actually gonna have to listen, princess." He scolded as he referred to Kane in front of everyone. I felt everyone's eyes on us and all I wanted to do was melt.

"Screw you." I shoved past him to head to my tent.

We still had a while to go until sunrise, but out of the corner of my eye, I saw Bellamy sneaking out into the forest with his gear. He told us to wait until sunrise and yet he's going ahead of us. Whatever is in that ship, he wants but isn't willing to tell anyone. He was up to something and I was going to figure out what.
