sky pov part 2

I walked to Chases office and knock

"Come in" Chase reply's

"I open the door and walk in, noticeing I'm the first one here. The atmosphere becomes tense and awkward

i cough clearing my throat

"How are you doing" Chase asks me trying to brake the awkwardness

"I'm fine thanks" I reply, oh god please can someone else turn up already i plead

"Take a seat, would you like a drink" he asks

"Sure a drink of water would be nice" I say taking a seat. I feel like I'm in the principles office or something with how clinical we are specking towards each other

He comes up behind me, to place my glass of water down. I catch his scent breathing it in, and its making me feel excited, his proximity isn't helping either. I grab the chair to stop myself from touching him,  you could almost feel the sexual tension crackle between us

"Skylar" he breaths in my ear which sets my heart to flutter in my chest

"Please don't" I beg

He stiffens besides me, and straightens up walking away. I breath in a sigh of relief. He goes and sits behind his desk

Knock Knock

He lets out a deep sigh and his shoulders slump in disappointment at the interruption

"Come in"

The door opens and in walks Blake, Liam, Emery. Josh, Zack, Ryan and Sora . I look at Sora and he just glares at me which i ignore. Behind them is Trent, Tommy, Connor, Brett and a few other members of Chases pack

I noticed that Connor rushes to sit next to Ryan practically pushing Brett out of his way. causing Brett to frown, but he lets it go. Ryan just look stressed out and tense, Iv noticed since we got here that their is a weird vibe is going on between Ryan and Connor. The secret looks the give each other,  the yearning looks Connor gives Ryan when he thinks nobody is looking. Hmmm ill have to talk to Ryan when i get the chance, and see what that's all about. I think to myself

"Everybody take a seat" he commands and waits until everybody is seated before starting

"Okay we all know what we are here for. The Rouges and Hunters crossed our boarders without being noticed. They had enough time to set up traps and prepare for and ambush, which is unacceptable. If it wasn't for Skylar sensing something wrong, we would of lost this battle. We were lucky

"We are now aware of the Hunters and Rouges are working together. In the last 12 hours, i have had my team interrogating the ones that survived, my men are pros at touchering infomation out of traitors, it didn't take to long for one of them to brake, what we have discovered is that the Hunters have come up with a serum to neutralize their scent, and have converted it into a spray, which can last up to 4 hours

"As for the Rouges and Hunters joining forces, they have said that their leader approached the Hunters to join forces with them, in a truce to kill all wolf packs. Now we need to come together and come up with a solution. I have informed all the packs I'm allied with and some that i am not. But we need to get the word out and let all packs know what they are up against. We now can consider ourselves at war" he explains

"I have notified my Alpha's and discussed what has happened in the last 24 hours. He is going to notify all the Alphas he knows and get the word out. He has also given permission for more of his people to arrive and help your pack. We have discovered that this is the only pack to have been attacked. We should assume that their is a reason behind it. Think about it. They had the element of surprise on their side, there are much more smaller and weaker packs they could of attacked and wiped out, yet they attack this one. One would have to ask the question as to why?" Blake says while looking between me and chase. For some reason I can't help but think its me he is after
