Chapter 12: Surprise?

I turned my music on to help me relax from everything; last night and the past few days. Walking around the park seems to calm my nerves.

Last night was a wreck. I remembered what Dana said. She has no right to talk to me like.

I sat on the bench and watched kids as they play in the fountain. I wanted to remind them to plan their future so they wouldn't end up like me but then again they're kids plus that idea might make me look like an idiot.

"Bai!!" Someone screamed. I turn around to see Tessa running down to me. How did she find me?

"Hey! What are you doing here?"

"I should be asking you that... Anyway do you wanna go vacation?" I shrugged. A vacation is nice but I'm not sure. I just want to stay in and sleep.

"Oh c'mon it will be fun plus you said to me way back that you want to go to vacation" she jumped excitedly.

"Maybe... Fine!" I sighed in defeat. I guess I could have some time off with all the negativity around me.

"Yieee!! Here!" She handed me a ticket.

"What for? I was going to buy my own" Tess is rich. Their house is a mansion unlike me. I'm not that rich but my parents can provide everything we want and need. Just to think of it, why don't I buy a new phone? Instead of my Nokia flip phone that was second handed.

"So where is it?"

"It's like a cruise ship tour... I don't know it's just in a ship!" She raised her hands in excitement. My guess was a country but I was wrong. Maybe something new will be great than the usual fly to another country. I nodded in agreement and remembered the new phone I want.

"Uh Tessa do you want to go phone hunting with me?"

"Are you serious? I've been waiting for you to say that to me!" She grabbed my hand and hurriedly yanked me to her car.

We drove to the nearest mall we could find and parked inside.

"Do you want an Iphone?" She said holding her phone in her hand and swaying it to me.

"I want but I was thinking Samsung? Whatever works" Maybe Iphone is great too. I dunno.

We went to a apple store first and she requested to me to buy a 5c the one with different colors. I like the blue one but the pink one looks cuter.

Then we went to a Samsung store and she requested a Note. I said it was too big and maybe the Iphones are better. We went back to the Iphone store and I debated if I should get the blue or pink.

"Maybe next time. I want both but I couldn't decide what to pick"

"That's okay! I had a great time though! Watching you think to much is funny!" She exclaimed and I playfully rolled my eyes at her.

"When is the vacation?"

"Uh... its two days away from now"

"What?! I haven't prepared my stuff!"

"I'll help you prepare your stuff or we could help each other to pack our stuff. I haven't packed mine too!" I sighed in relief.

We drove back to our dorm and Tess parked her car beside mine. I opened our room and marked our calendar.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

My phone rang to see Niall's caller I.D. I accidentally pressed ignore and called him right away.

"Hey Niall, I'm so sorry!! I accidentally pressed ignore so sorry!!" I heard a chuckle on the other line. His laugh is cute though. My subconcious added. Sometimes I hate my subconcious.

"It's okay... we just finished the tour!" He happily said.

"Well that's great! Where do you plan to do after that tour?" I asked. Am I too nosy for him. Why am I thinking these thoughts?!

"Well... I dunno. Maybe the boys and I will go there and hangout with you two. Both of you are pretty cool and we need some chill time too! We can also go back to our hometowns and stay there for awhile then go back to the U.K. or there in California" You wish he would pick the first one don't you? Oh shut up and mind your own business!

"Hey Bailey!" Harry said in the backround. They must be talking while I went to my little world named Thoughts.

"Hey Harold!" I heard a scowl at the backround causing me to laugh at the name I called him.

"Whatever Bai-bai!!" Harry cooed at me. I made a disgusted face and they both laughed at what Harry called me.

"Hey Niall! Knock knock?!" Harry said.

"Oh my god not this again Harold!" Niall groaned and I heard him close the door behind him. I laughed and remembered that Harry is bad at jokes.

"Your laugh is so cute!" I couldn't help but blush at his comment.

"You too Mr. Horan" I can picture him smiling. So cute. What's wrong with me? Yes I may have a crush on him because normally fangirls have crush on their idols. But this is different. I am talking to THE Niall James Horan who is freaking gorgeous. I snapped from my thoughts and talked to Niall until I fall asleep.

I woke up and I saw my phone call with Niall is still on. I could hear him snore. Wait does this means he fall asleep while talking to me too? I silently stood up from my bed but I dropped the phone on the floor. Clumsy me strikes again!

"Wha- huh?" Niall said on the other line. I hurriedly picked my phone up and sat on the bedside.

"I'm sorry I woke you!" I said to the phone. I think Niall is still confused because he keeps on saying 'huh?'

"Bailey?... Oh yea! I think we forgot to say good bye 'cause we bothe fell asleep!" He chuckled as well as me. We exchanged goodbyes and ended the call.
