Chapter 20: Dinner gone wrong

Niall's POV

I reached for my phone to call Bailey. After the call, I stood up from my bed and started to prepare. It was 3 in the afternoon and I'm gonna pick her up at 4:30.

I grabbed my keys and proceeded to go to my car. It's 4:15 so I have 15 minutes to drive to her house. I rang her doorbell and waited for a couple minutes. She opened the door to reveal her light pink flowy dress, golden high heels and her little gold purse. Whoa.... She's hot...

"Uh... Bailey... you look absolutely amazing!" I complimented her. She smiled and proceeded to go to my car. I opened the passenger's side and she went inside.

It was a long silent drive but it was a peaceful one. She lightly taps her fingers to her lap from the music in my car.

"Nobody, Nobody... Nobody can Drag me Down" she sings. I knew she would like that song Louis composed.

"You like Drag me Down?" I asked.

"Well duh! I like all One Direction songs!" She exclaimed and I laughed at her excitement. I haven't laughed this much since... that misunderstanding...

"Where are we going anyway?" She asked.

"It's a surprise! Be patient" She giggled and looked put from the window.

After 30 mins of drive, I finally parked my car inside the parking lot. She silently opened the car and fixed her dress. I fixed my tux and guided her up to our spot.

After a long elevator ride we finally reached the top floor of the hotel. I held her tiny hands and opened the door.

Bailey's POV

Oh. My. Gosh.

This place is huge! Flowers with pink with purple accents are placed everywhere. I could see the sunset outside the glass wall. Candles, Fairy lights complimented the flowers. Everything is just perfect. I notoced that Niall is looking at me.

"Do you like it?" He asked.

"Are you friggin' kidding? It's amazing! Thank you so much!" I practically jumped.

"It's nothing really" he smiled and guided me to my seat. I sat down and looked at the sunset. It's purely beautiful in here. After a few minutes a waiter came with our food I guess. The waiter opened our food and revealed some kind of pasta and... something else. I couldn't actually figure what it is but it tasted so good. Niall on the other hand silently ate his food.

"How was it?" He asked.

"The food? It tastes amazing! I'm actually so full right now" I laughed. Keep calm, Bailey.

"Same here!" We both laughed. Niall stood up and went behind the bushes of flowers. I was left alone and confused but after a few minutes, the lights dimmed and I heard a faint voice, singing. I then realized it was Niall's voice. I followed to where his voice is and I opened the door behind the flowers. It lead me to a creepy staircase going down. The closer I get the fainter the voice is. I arrived at the end of the staircase and opened the door. It revealed a dark room but I couldn't hear Niall anymore. I tried to open the door I went out to but it's jammed. The room looks so big and really dark. I realized that I left my phone upstairs. I searched for the switch and found it. I turned it on and... I was at the basement of the hotel. It looks like it was not used for months. It was purely scary in here. I need to get out. I found a door but it's locked. I tried everything but nothing happend. I sat at the dusty chair and waited.

After almost an hour I heard the door being opened by keys. I stood up and looked at the door. The door opened and to my surprise Louis came barging in.

"BAILEY! OHMYGOHD WE'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR YOU!" he ran and hugged me.

"I thought I was staying here forever! Niall called you?" I asked.

"He did. Let's get outta here" he held my hand and we went up the long staircase. I saw Niall sitting on a chair with his hands on his face.

"Niall!" I screamed.

"Bailey! Where have you been?" I hugged him for like forever. He hugged back and I released.

"I followed your voice. You we're singing down there and I followed you" I told him.

"I never went downstairs. I used the door beside it where the DJ system is located. Also, I wasn't singing" He told me confusedly.

"But whose voice did I follow?" I shivered.

"I don't know but you're here now"

"Yeah..." but I'm really sure that the voice is Niall's. A few minutes Niall told me to go to room number 709 and wait for him.

I opened the door and it revealed a big room. A couch in the center, T.V. the kitchen on the left side of the room and the bedroom on the right. I sat on the couch and waited for Niall. A few minutes, he came in and sat beside me.

"I missed you..." Niall whispered.

"I missed you too" I said and he looked up to me. I didn't know what I was doing but I kissed him on the cheek. He was shocked at my actions.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mea-" I was cut off by him hugging me. I felt so ashamed and guilty. He really is sorry.

"I didn't know what I would do without you... Bailey I was lost" He admitted. I smiled and proceeded to go to the bedroom. The room is huge with two beds. One single and One double. How bout clothes?

"Niall I don't have clothes"

"I bought you one. It's in the drawer!" He told me while he was watching golf in the T.V.
I opened the drawer and changed clothes.

Niall entered the room and changed clothes. He slept beside me but I tried to go to the other bed. He held my hand and looked at me.

"Stay here with me?" He asked. I nodded and went back to his side. At that I slept while the rain started. I still wouldn't forget what happend awhile ago... my dinner went wrong.
