We heard a fanfare of trumpets playing from across the river.

"To all who live on the Moors..." it echoed rather loudly. "And kingdoms far and wide, the king and queen invite you to attend the wedding of their son Philip to Aurora in three days' time. All are welcome. And all are expected!"

"Did you hear that? We're invited to the castle!" Knotgrass exclaimed happily.

"I knew Aurora wouldn't abandon us! I always knew I'd be invited. Just glad you two made the cut" Flittle was just as happy.

"Who's getting married?" Thistlewit asked the others, confused.

Lief grunted. Not happy.

"She's continuing with the wedding even though Maleficent isn't back. That's not like Aurora. I don't understand whats going on" I spoke, not believing what I had heard.

"Maybe it's what's best for Aurora right now. And what's best for Prince Philip's kingdom I mean their King is asleep right now" Diaval spoke trying to help but I still felt a hint of betrayel lace his voice. How could Aurora go ahead with the wedding when we didn't know where Maleficent was. And more importantly, if she was even OK. We continued to search for the next three days but it was like looking for a needle haystack.

It was finally Aurora's wedding day. Diaval and I walked together with the rest of the creatures from the Moors

"Everyone, stay together! We're about to leave the Moors" - Knotgrass instructed.

"Grab the hand or the wing or the tail of whoever is closest to you" - Flittle added.

We crossed the river, on Lief's shoulders. Diaval placed his hand out for me to take as we got out of the water. I grabbed it gentle as we continued walking hand in hand with the rest of the creatures from the Moors. As we walked towards the castle's gates the streets lined with excited citizens.

"Hey, over here! Yeah, over here!" a gentlemen called for our attention but we just kept walking.

"Hold formation, guards. Hold formation" but just as we were almost to the gates we were stopped. "Excuse me, sir, madam"

"Stop right there" two guards grabbed at us.

"We're with the bride" Diaval explained.

"We've been told to let the, uh, other kind find their seats first"

"But I'm not a human. I'm a raven" Diaval tried to reason with the two men.

"What?"

"A raven. The black bird" we were pushed into the crowd. That's when we noticed noble men and women being refused entry as well. I looked to the walls holding us from going to the wedding and had an idea.

"Come on Diaval, let's find another way in" we followed the wall to a part that looked easily climbable.

"Are you sure about this. You could fall and hurt yourself"

"Where's your sense of curiosity and adventure. Something is happening beyond this wall and those guards took us out of there for a reason. Now I want to know why. That means climbing a wall. This wall. Now come on" We began to climb the wall being careful with our footing. When we finally managed to get passed the wall, there were guards everywhere. Diaval and I moved quickly but made sure to keep out of sight. We could hear an organ being played but at no point had we seen any of the nobles enter. They were doing something to the fairies. I noticed something coming from the distance. Flying straight towards us. I grabbed Diaval and pointed towards the sky. "What is that?"

"Well... It looks like Maleficent but it can't be" We continued running only now it was begin to be an all out war.
