MONDAY

Sun and Eung began to prepare the daycare for the day.

The daycare wasn't too big but it certainly wasn't small.

(Think of the fnaf game daycare, only with a normal entrance without the golden statues, no merch because this isn't the pizzaplex, no security desk in the side of the playground, just a normal desk where Sunny keeps his belongings and other important papers, and no sun and moon based art on the walls or bathrooms. You get the idea.
There is one main floor, which comprises of the playground in the middle, the space or hallway surrounding the playground as the waiting area that also leads to their very own theater.)

The entrances' big glass doors led to the main area. That's where the parents would give Sun their child's belongings and tell him what he needed to know.
The main area was also the hallway that led to the restrooms and to their very own theater.
The playground had play structures and was baby proof everywhere. With a cushioned floor, a net around the playground, kiddie tables and more.

With five minutes until officially opening, there came the first parent at the door.

Suns POV ☀️

I heard the bell in the door ring signaling the first parent to come this morning. It was Freddy and Gregory!

"Freddy! Gregory! Good morning!"

"Morning" said Freddy.

"Hi sunny! Hi Eung! said Gregory with a smile.

He ran towards me and hugged me, then Eung quickly before waving goodbye to Freddy and running to the playground.

"Wow, he's really cheerful today, so how've you been Fred-bear?" I asked while looking at a tired animatronic bear.

"Taking care of a seven year old has it's challenges sometimes. I don't know how you do it Sun. But, it's been wonderful to care for Gregory." Freddy said with a smile.

"Haha, I understand. But, I can say with confidence that you're doing a great job Freddy. Really." I looked him in the eyes with a soft smile. He smiled, it looked like he wanted to cry.

"Thank you, Sunny. Please take care of Gregory while I go to work. Here's his lunch for today and some drawing supplies he wanted to bring. Oh! And i'll have to come for him close to closing hours since I gotta stay over-shift. Will that be alright?" asked Freddy with a worried smile.

"Course! Don't worry Fred, I will make sure he stays safe and has lots of fun! Now have a good day at work! And don't cry!" I said with a smile, pushing him to the door since I knew he needed to leave now if he wanted to make it to work in time. He was a sentimental bear.

He smiled and waved goodbye. Eung then spoke up from behind the counter.
"He is a great father. It's amazing how fast he learned all the needs of a kid."

"Yeah, I think we should remind him of that more. We only met him last year, so we weren't there to help him become a father.."

Eung just nodded then went to sit down.

Sometimes parents need a hand with their children to take care of their own needs. That's why I love doing my job. I get to help others and also help nurture strong and kind children.

Freddy was a great father figure. I have always been glad that they found each other.
Gregory was abandoned as a baby and Freddy had found him and taken him as his own cub. It was an endearing story really.

No POV

Sun proceeded to greet and welcome the other parents. He saw some old faces as well as new ones! Meanwhile Eung handled the money.

There have been times when a parent couldn't afford the payment, but Sunny never turned them away. He put in his own money instead.
The only condition Sunny gave them was for the parent to focus on taking care of their child and themselves. (Focus on raising money for their needs and stuff -_-)
Sun could sympathize with them. He didn't have a nice or easy childhood, so he couldn't..more like wouldn't dismiss them. He just wants to help make their lives a bit better.

The daycare is open from 6:00Am to 7:00Pm from Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays were off days.
Eung worked full time with Sun most of the time. They were able to afford some cleaning bots to help around the daycare but couldn't hire new employees.
Nobody around saw the job of taking care of kids as favorable. And old employees were scared off from the fights that occured around the block.

Sun turned his attention towards the sound 🔔 of the entrance door opening.

It was a young girl with unbelievably dark hair. She looked to be around 6 years of age. But, who brought her?
