Sun opened his eyes at the sound of his alarm. He was currently under Moons embrace. Sun slowly tried to completely wake up. It took him a bit to remember that he had cuddled with Moon all night. At realizing how close they were, Sun blushed. Moon then began to stir, since Sun hadn't stopped the alarm yet, the noice was waking a very sleepy Moon. Moon then turned away from Sun in an attempt to block out the noise. Sun took advantage of this and quickly turned off his alarm. Moon settled back into a deep sleep. Sun sighed in relief, Moon needed the sleep. He looked at Moon and smiled. "Moons sleeping figure is so cute!" Sun thought while he snickered at Moon. "I better go see if Melody is awake yet. I wonder if she will stay in the daycare again today? Or maybe she goes to school?" As Sun thought this, he got up out of bed and got dressed into one of his sun themed outfits for work. Sometimes he dressed up formally since he wanted to look professional. But mostly, he liked to dress in bright colors for the daycare, the kids really liked to see his different outfits.

Sun tried to be as quiet as possible when leaving his room. Then he headed for the guest bedroom. He knocked and got no response. He tried to listen for any noise that might tell him that Mel was asleep but heard nothing. Worried, he opened the door quietly. There was no one there. The bed was fixed in a messy manner. As he was about to close the door, he heard a yawn from behind him. Sun turned to see a tired Melody holding one of the plushies he hides in the guest room. (Sun may or may not have a hobby of knitting) "Melody!" Sun exclaimed surprised. "Sunny -yaaaawn- i'm thirsty. Can you pour me a glass of water? I couldn't reach the cabinets.." Melody asked in a tired tone. Her hair was a bit messy and she was having a hard time keeping her eyes open. Sun smiled at her. "She and Moon are both so cute!" Sun thought. He then picked Mel up and placed her on his hip, holding her with one arm were she wouldn't fall. "Lets head downstairs then starlight. I can't believe you're up so early. Did you sleep well last night?" Sun asked as he headed for the kitchen. He started pouring her a glass as she spoke. "Mhm. The bed is so comfy and softy. And I found some cute stuffed animals in the room too! I named this one Honey!" She lifted up the bunny plushie up towards Sun, smiling widely. "Honey? That's really pretty! You know...aside from Honey, the other plushies don't have a name yet. I.." Sun hesitated to tell her that he had made the dolls. Since having dolls is very childish, Sun was made fun of for it when he was small. Melody just looked at Sun while she drank her water. "I want to tell you a secret. BUT! You have to promise that you won't tell anybody! Especially Moon!" Sun told her. She nodded quickly, wanting to know the secret. "I actually made the plushies you found. I had actually finished Honey two days ago." Melody had sparkles in her eyes. "You made them?! Wow! That's awesome! You're very talented Sunny!" Sun smiled, taken aback from the good response. "Thank you starlight! I'm happy you liked them, if you want, you can keep Honey. Since you seem to like him a lot." "Really? Thank you thank you thank you!" Mel exclaimed.
Moon walked down the stairs towards the noice coming from the kitchen. "What's going on? You're both so loud." Moon said irritated. "Morning Moon" Sun said. "Brother! Sunny gave me a bunny! Look look! Isn't he cute?" Mel had jumped down from Sunnys arms and ran towards Moon. Moon took the bunny and inspected it. "Hmm it's quite a sturdy bunny. Cute too. Take good care of it Mel." Moon handed the bunny back and patted Melody's head. Sun blushed from the indirect compliment from Moon.

Suns POV ☀️

"Moon" I said. Moon looked at me. I raised and eyebrow to ask if he was gonna tell Mel the news now. He raised his eyebrow back at me confused. I groaned internally. "Melody, we have some exciting news to tell you!" Moons face lit up. Now he realizes. She turned and looked at me, "What is it?" she asked. "Come, let's all sit in the dining table." I said. Moon sat in front of Mel.

Moons POV 🌙

"Mel, do you remember what happened the week when we came to this neighborhood?" I asked. Melody looked sad for a moment at remembering. I couldn't blame her. When we first came here to rent a house, those thugs had come to threaten us. "Y-yeah. I remember..you protected me from a bunch of mean guys." She said in a low tone. I smiled in an attempt to comfort her. "Well I told Sun about it." She looked up surprised. "Y-you d-did? u-um -sniff-" She had started to cry! "Whoah, hey, hey it's okay. There's no need to cry Mel." I said. Suns rays retracted, becoming shorter as he worried for Mel. He kneeled down beside Mel and rubbed her back to try and calm her down. "B-but, d-does that m-hic-mean that y-you don't want -hic- us around anymo-hic-re?" Mel asked Sun. "What? Of course not starlight! What made you think that?" Sun said worried. I understood what she meant. No one had ever tried to help us when we were being terrorized by those thugs. Most people would steer clear or disassociate themselves from us. "Mel, calm down. Sun- " I looked at Suns worried face for Mel. He had started to tear up a bit too. I loved how caring he was. There was no way he would ever turn Mel or me away. I smiled at that, "Mel," I began to say again, "Sun would never turn his back on you for such a thing. I wanted to tell you that we will be living with Sun now. He offered to help us after I told him everything." She stopped crying and looked up with big red eyes. She turned to Sun, " R-really? You- would let us stay?"

Suns POV ☀️

I looked into her eyes. She had so much hope in them it made me tear up and hug her. "Of course you can stay starlight!" I hugged her as she began to tear up again. This time she was full on crying. Letting out all of those anxious and worried feelings out. It was like a leak that turned into a flood.

(Stop music in case it's still going)

After a while we had all calmed down and Moon had made us pancakes for breakfast. I told them that I would have to go to the daycare in a few minutes since we opened early. Moon told me that Mel would be going to school today and that he would go to work too. "So..where do you work?" I asked. "At the Superstar café." Moon said. "Oh? I don't think i've ever gone there. And where does Mel go to school at?" I asked. "Light elementary school. It should be around four to five blocks from here." Moon then picked up our empty plates and went to wash them in the sink. "Let me help brother!" exclaimed Mel. "Sure."

I went to get a small step ladder and placed it near the sink so she could reach. "The pancakes were delicious Moon. I can help wash the dishes with Mel. You should go change for work. You can use some of my clothes if you like. Some might be too small but i'm sure I have some dress shirts that could fit you!" I said blushing a bit. The thought of Moon wearing my clothing..so embarrassing! I thought. "Thanks sunshine.~" Moon said before he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and then headed upstairs to change. I was left standing there shocked and embarrassed. Mel just looked at me and giggled. "You're as red as a tomato!" she said. My rays retracted again due to my embarrassment. "Lets just finish putting away the dishes alright?" She giggled again, "oki!"

No POV

Moon had taken Mel to their house so she could change for school. Sun had offered to go with them but Moon denied. He told Sun to hurry to the daycare and open up on time. Plus, Sun was the one to close yesterday, so Eung doesn't have the keys to open up.

Sun left for work and met up with Eung. Moon dropped off Mel at school and then headed to the café.
