Moons POV 🌙

After I dropped Mel off I headed towards the café. It's near the elementary school.

I felt a shiver go down my spine. The morning breeze was very chilly. The sky was filled with clouds, changing colors as the sun rose in the horizon. It looks like it will rain. Probably late at night though. I stopped, almost to the café, and looked up for a bit. The wind blew then came to a stop as I breathed in. I can breath like a human. Feel like them, even think like them. Even though i'm a robot...and technically, i'm not alive. Yesterday's events made me feel something i've never felt before. That night..being so close to him. I...felt warm, loved...alive, for the first time in so many years. I know now what these feelings are. I really did fall in love with him. Heh....//// I blushed at the thought of him. He shines so bright, I feel as though he has lit up the darkness inside of my nonexistent heart 💙 As I began walking again, I looked down with a smile on my face. But, in the blink of an eye, I saw two figures run into me.

"OOf!" Moon let out a puff of air as he was tackled to the ground.

"MOON!" "MOON!" Two voices screamed. The voices were female. Moon looked up quickly to face his attackers. He came face to face with a worried chicken on top of him and an annoyed wolf looking down at him. His animatronic coworkers, and close friends, Chica and Roxane.
"What's wrong with you loser? Lost in thought in bright daylight." snarled Roxy. "We were screaming at you to get your attention but you ignored us! You've been standing out here for 30 minutes! Your late for your shift!" screamed Chica. Moon was surprised. Had I really been lost in thought about him for so long? Moon questioned himself. Chica got off of Moon and Roxy lended him a hand to get up. "I can't believe I was lost in thought for so long. Did you say 30 minutes?" Moon asked. "Hmph, it would have been longer if not for us. Come on already." Roxy turned to leave towards the café as Chica and Moon followed. Chica kept asking if Moon was alright, he kept telling her it was nothing to worry over.

Monty, their boss and owner of the Superstar Café, looked at Moon sternly as he came in late. Roxy led Chica back to work as Moon faced the alligator.

"You're late." Said Monty.

"So it seems." Moon responded looking away.

He wasn't overly terrified of the gator as the others might be. Moon respected him and felt a huge crushing feeling when his gaze was placed on him. Monty had not cared of Moons past and had offered him a job. In not so subtle ways, he had taught Moon a lot of things. How to defend himself, to have a strong character, to work, he had helped him grow up. Moon was grateful. But, that didn't change the fact that the old man had a terribly stern character. If he didn't know that the old man had just needed more worker's back then, he wouldn't oppose the idea of him being a kind of father figure to Moon.

"I thought you had gotten rid of that habit of yours. Arriving late to work and coming in whenever it pleased you."

"That isn't why/"

"No excuses." Monty looked at Moon up and down. "Get to work. I better not see you slaking off." Monty walked off into the kitchen.

Moon didn't realize that the look he got from Monty was a check up. To see if he was injured or anything. Monty was stern and bold. But, Moon held a special place in his heart.

"Dammit old man. Of course I won't slack off." Moon thought, a bit irritated.

At the Daycare

Sun and Eung had already greeted the children and parents into the daycare. Eung and Sun were watching over the children as they talked.

"so?" Eung asked Sun. "So what?" Sun responded. Eung rolled his eyes. "SO, how are things with the hot animatronic?" Eung clarified. Sun blushed. "W-well things are good! He and Mel seem to have adjusted to my house already." Sun knew that wasn't the response Eung was looking for.

Eungs POV

I could tell what was going on already. Sun wasn't aware of his attraction towards Moon or he was in denial. I could think of a few reasons as to why. Sun is my best friend. We've known each other for 10 years. He has told me of some of his...issues. But that shouldn't still be affecting him, right? I know Sun is strong and he has moved on. I decided to press the matter more. "Sun, are you attracted to Moon?" I asked.

Sun looked up at the children, his eyes showed sadness from the past.
Ah. So he hasn't forgotten. I looked at him, ashamed to have brought up the subject. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bring back bad memories." Sun looked at me and smiled. "No worries. I..I moved on. It's just...the feeling still lingers in my chest. I..can't help but wonder if it'll happen again." As he finished saying that, I placed a hand on his shoulder. "Sun. As long as I'm here, I won't let anyone hurt you again. I made you a promise when we were young, remember?" Sun let out a small tear and smiled, "Of course I do. But don't worry, I won't make the same mistake again." Sun then got up and left to help the kids with a game. I looked at his back as he walked away. His last words worried me. I don't want Sun to purposely distance himself. I remember how he changed after...THAT happened. How depressed he became. It took me so long to help him heal. But. I honestly think that Moon is different. The way he defended Sun before. And for the first time in years, Sun smiled a genuine smile and blushed when he talked to Moon. That has to be a sign. Moon can help Sun heal. And i'll try to help him too. I got up and went back to work.

Suns Past

Sun had known Eung since childhood. They protected each other. Eung was taught how to fight at an early age. He had then taught Sun to defend himself.

Sun lived with his father, never having met his mother. Suns mother had been killed when he was a baby. His father had raised Sun until he was 16. That day on his 16th birthday, Suns father had mysteriously disappeared.
Sun grew up alone, with the help of Eung, who had been in multiple foster homes since he was young. But no matter how far he was put, he had always found his way back to Sun.

They were doing well. Until one day, Sun had fallen in love. Eung had know that Sun was attracted to male animatronics, but the guy he had fallen for had always gotten on Eungs nerves. He couldn't place his finger on why, he just gave him bad vibes. Sun on the other hand, didn't see the same thing. He thought the guy was kind, enchanting, and loving. And so, they dated. Sun was loyal to him. Sun loved him. Worst of all, Sun believed that he loved him back too.

After half a year of their relationship, Sun had come home one day to see him with a woman. Sun was devastated. He had stood there as he saw them both in bed. He had taken Suns loyalty for granted. Sun immediately told them both to leave. But the guy had been stubborn, he had wanted Sun to forgive him. To not kick him out. Then, Sun realized that he wasn't with Sun because he loved him, no...he was with Sun for comfort. The guy had gotten angry when Sun didn't budge and had tried to beat Sun into submission. But Sun wasn't gonna accept this, so he fought back. Sun wanted to kill him. Sun was SO angry. At him, at himself for being so blind. In that moment of weakness, the guy had gotten a few clean hits at him. The guy could have injured Sun permanently if Eung hadn't arrived in time to beat the guy up and call the police for assault.

Sun was left sitting in the ground, with wounds and a mess of a living room. After Eung had dealt with the guy, he had come back to heal Suns injuries, as well as his own. Sun felt...empty. After all, for him, it had been true love.

After that event, Sun had become depressed. Less happy and social. He would cry at night and work silently during the day. He always had a fake and forced smile to trick the children and parents into thinking that he was okay. Eung helped Sun through this, and Sun eventually went back to normal. Eung thought Sun would be okay from then on, but he now realized he was wrong. His friend was still hurt. Sun still had an empty hole weighing him down.
