Sun POV ☀️

*At work*

Sun was cleaning up as the children slept. Eung was watching over them, Sun was lost in thought.

I didn't think it could be true. That I would feel this way towards someone again.

I giggled a bit.

His smile makes my body shiver with excitement. His little kisses give me hope. His voice makes me think that everything will be okay. His kindness and gallantry make him shine as bright as the moon itself.

I frowned.

We just met, yet he opened up about his past. He showed me his vulnerable state. No male chauvinist. Just...his true feelings. That's something HE never did.

I didn't want to think about him now. I turned to look at the now sparkling playground. I clean when i'm stressed. I sighed.

If I could of been there for moon then..maybe I could of helped him. I won't ever let him go through something so horrible again. I would much rather see his smile. Hear him talk with his smooth yet rough voice.

Sun's eyes widened at that. He shook his head.

I'm thinking of him fondly again.
But I understand what it feels like to not have a home. To not feel the love of a parent. He and I...aren't so different. I want to get to know him better. Maybe...maybe we can even be together?/-

Suddenly, as I thought that, my body crackled with a bit of electricity. I fell to my knees. I looked up, holding my chest, where my heart would be. I breathed heavily as the shock passed. My eyes had turned black for a split second but had gone back to normal after I calmed down. I huffed trying to regain my breath.

"No......after all, who would ever want to be with me.
Ha..ha...huff...eventually he would get bored, or grow tired of me. He would leave me for someone else."

No POV

A black tear flowed from Sun's eye.
He immediately wiped it off and left to wake the children. It was almost time for their parents to pick them up.

Moons POV 🌙

I had gone to pick up Mel from school at 3:15 and then headed home. Sun had given me a spare key with a little moon star keychain.

Flashback

"Oh Moon! Before I forget. Here." Sun handed Moon the keychain. "Since you will be living with me now, you'll definitely need it."

Moon took the keychain and inspected it. "A moon?" Questioned Moon.

Sun blushed. "W-well yeah. I love the moon."

Moon looked up at Sun.

" I-I MEAN I REALLY LIKE IT. I MEAN ITS REALLY PRETTY!" Sun blushed as he tried to explain. Moon smirked at Sun's reaction.

"Oh you know what I mean.." Sun said in a low tone embarrassed.

"Oh~ I know exactly what you mean~" Moon teased.
