Inside the daycare
No POV
Sun was telling the children all of the activities that they could do, and their schedule for the day. There was the arts and craft section, the painting section, puppet making, board games, the play structures, story telling, nap times, puppet shows in the theater, movies, etc. Of course the activities came by time.
From 6:00 to 7:00 am the kids ate breakfast if they hadn't already or some snacks if they ate at home already.
Then came the variety of activities from 7:00 to 10:00 am.Sun joined in with the activities alongside the children. He used glitter glue on everything and overall acted like a child. He had fun meeting each one of them and got to talk to Melody for a bit too. Eung came in once in a while to check up on everyone.
Then, it was time for the kids to have lunch. This took two hours, to eat and clean up afterwards.
From 12:30 to 1:30 pm, it was time for an after-lunch nap.
Then once the kids woke up it was time to play some more. Usually kids had a lot of energy at this time. So they would either continue their previous activities or decide to ask Sun for a puppet show.
Kids liked the way Sun told the story of, The Lion and the Mouse.
This is the tale of two different animals and how they became friends. You can look it up if you want but, honestly i'll give a summary of my version of it.
The story goes like this; A lion is sleeping in the jungle. A tired mouse sees a big and comfy looking pile of soft fur without realizing it was of a lion. He goes to sleep in it, but wakes the lion up from his nap instead. The lion is furious from this disrespect. He is the king of the jungle!
Anyway, the lion looks at the mouse and threatens to eat it for waking him up in such a rude manner. The mouse pleads for forgiveness and tells the lion to have mercy. He tells the lion that if he lets him live, someday, he will repay his kindness. The lion was amused at the thought of a mouse helping a beast such as him. The lion takes this in, even with his anger, the lion knew that there was no honor in punishing the mouse for its mistake. So, he decided to let him go.Later, the lion is netted by hunters. He is tied down and begins to roar. Hearing it roaring, the mouse remembered the lions clemency and goes to free the lion by chewing through the ropes. Ever since then, the lion and the mouse became the best of friends.

The moral of the story is — whoever it may be, whatever size, we should help each other.
Once story time was over at around 4:00 pm, the kids would usually ask to go to the theater. So, Sun would take them and play some Disney movies until the clock hit 5:30 pm. At this time Sun would take the kids back into the play area and place them inside their sleeping bags to take a nap before their parents came.
Usually the children would sleep and not wake up even if their parents took them and carried them out of the daycare. Some would wake up and say their farewells to Sun and Eung.
But today was different than usual. Something unexpected happened when the children were sleeping and Sun was waiting for parents to come for their children. A commotion could be heard coming from outside of the daycare.
Sun stopped and looked towards the entrance.
-Loud voices and clatter sounds-
Sun grew worried that a fight had started outside the daycare. The children woke up with a start, scared awake by the sounds. Sun quickly got up and told the children to stay put. Then he went to the entrance and saw a group of people outside of the daycare starting a fight. Eung was standing away from the glass doors when he called Sun over.
Eung POV ☁️
Damn it. If this gets out of hand the children could be at risk of becoming collateral damage for these motherfuckers.
"Tsk, should we try and stop them? I don't think these guys are the type to bark and not bite."
-Arguing sounds in the background-
Sun came up behind me and said, "I don't think getting involved would help the situation. If anything we could be endangering the kids."
"Right."
There were seemingly two opposing groups, each with around ten guys. Who knows what these jokers were fighting about. I could easily fight ten of them and Sunny all 20 by himself. But Sun doesn't like conflict or hurting others, so dealing with this ourselves wasn't an option. We could call the cops but that would endanger us and the children if they are part of a gang. And most of the time you really couldn't tell who was and who wasn't.
Then I noticed that parents had started to come near the daycare, taking notice of the commotion going on too.
I cringed at how these asswipes were blocking the way for the parents to come get their kids.
I looked at Sun and noticed his serious expression."Should we risk calling the cops, Sun?"

Then, the guys outside started harassing the parents that were asking them to move. Suddenly their attention turned to the parents and they forgot about their previous fight.
A child tugged on Suns pants. Surprised, Sun and Eung looked down at the kid. "Is mommy coming?" asked the kid.
Sun drew the line there. The kids parents were in danger. Sun told Eung to stay inside with the kids, away from the door. Eung nodded and took the kids to the back. Sun then opened the door and ran out to noises of distress.
