*Moon headed to Mel's school with Chica and Roxy. Moon told Mel the change of plans and she happily went along with Chica and Roxy for their girls night. Now, Moon had to go and place his plan into action before Sunny got off his shift.*

No POV

Sun turned the key and opened the door. He had resolved to tell Moon about his feelings tonight. Steeling himself for whatever could happen.

As he stepped into the house, he hesitated, surprised when he saw how dark it was inside. Further down the entry hall he spotted lit candles.
They seemed to form a path up the stairs. Sun wasn't a fan of the dark. Like, at all. But the unexpected scene intrigued him, since only Moon could have set this up.

Suns POV

"Hello? Moon? Mel?" I closed the door as I called out their names. It was dead silent aside from some faint music coming from deeper within the house. Where they asleep?

I placed my keys in my pocket. I stepped closer to the candles, my keys rattling a bit as I walked, and noticed that they were artificial. I sighed, relieved at that. They looked fairly real. (He was worried that fire had been left unattended in his house)

The soft melody was giving the dimly lit pathway a calm and lovely feel.  It helped me relax a bit, no longer afraid of the dark surrounding me.

I walked towards the foot of the stairs and looked up. The candles were placed on each side end of each stair step all the way towards the top. Lighting the way up. As I looked up, I could distinctly tell that the lighting was better upstairs.
