RishMi (M) - Snake!

MATURE!!

Lakshmi's P.O.V.

"Rishi ab tak kyu nahi aaya?" (Why hasn't Rishi come home yet?) I mumble to myself pacing around our room, there was a bad storm outside, and it was raining so much, and Rishi? He wasn't answering my phone, neither was he responding to any of my messages. "Itni derse wait karahi hoon, ye toh socha nahi hogya."  (I have been waiting for so long.)

Sitting down on the bed I call him again but it went to voicemail, "Rishi tum kaha ho? Kabse tumhari raha dekh rahi hoon. Ek baar phone karake baata toh do!" (Rishi where are you? I have been waiting forever, at least call me.)  I say before hanging up throwing the phone on the bed I stomp my foot irritatedly, fine when he comes now I am not going to talk to him. Whatever happens. 

Groaning I stormed into the bathroom changing my sari into something comfortable, "Itna acha intizaam kiya tha sab karab hogya." ( I had decorated everything so nicely, what a waste.) Pulling down the flowers and lights I fix the bed, I look over at the time, it was flashing at 10:30, I called him an hour ago...Where is he!

Taking a deep breath in I get the coach ready, before laying down on it...the rain hit the windows harshly, sighing I shut my eyes ignoring the sounds, trying to drown out all the negative thoughts going on in my mind. Struggling to go to sleep I move around on the sofa for another hour irritated I stared up at the ceiling, suddenly I hear the door open, "Lakshmi?" I hear Rishi call me, mad I shut my eyes pretending to sleep. I didn't want to talk to him, I wasnt going to talk to him, "Lakshmi?" He called again, "She fell asleep, shit...I promised to have dinner with her too."

He remembered? Wow, good to know. Keeping my eyes shut I turned my back to him lazily so it looked like I was moving in my sleep, Rishi turned on the lights keeping them dim, I heard him throw his things on the ground, "Change karleta hoon."  (I should change.)

As he shut the bathroom door I opened my eyes, sitting up, "Baat karo? Nahi karti, per pata toh chale ye kaha tha. Itni kya important meeting jo mujhe nahi bataya." I mumble to myself, "Hai Rabba, kya karu?" (Should I talk to him? No...but then how will I find out where he was? Oh God, what should I do?)

"Saap!" (Snake!)  Rishi exclaimed, "Saap, L-Lakshmi." (Snake, L-Lakshmi!)

"Rishi!" I yelled back quickly throwing the blankets off of me, "Rishi, Darwaza kolo!" (Rishi, open the door.)

"L-Lakshmi Saap hai yaha." (There is a snake here.)

"Haan toh bahaar aajo.'  (Come out.) I say knocking on the door, "Rishi, bahaar aao meri jaan nikali jaarahi hain. Rishi!" (Rishi you are scaring the life out of me, come out.)

"Acha, aata hoon. T-Tum darwase door hato." (Okay, move away from the door.)

"Door hoon."  (I have.) I say stepping back, my hands were shaking, a couple of minutes went by, when Rishi open the door a crack throwing something at me, I caught it. Snake! I let out a loud scream jumping on the bed, "Saap! Rishi kya karhae hoon." (Rishi what are you doing!)

He came out laughing holding his stomach, "Rishi, door haato, Rishi."  (Rishi move away, Rishi) Whimper scared my heart was hammering, "Rishi!"

Rishi continued to laugh stepping closer to the snake, he leaned down grabbing it by its tail, swinging it back in forth flinching I move away, "I-It's fake."

"Huh?" I say confused, 

"Chooke dekho." (Touch it)

"Nahi, keep it away from me Rishi, seriously." I say moving back more as he came to the edge of the bed, "Rishi, haatao." (Rishi, move it away.)
