Bakugou's pov

His number is the only one I memorized. I know this is the right number. But he's always answered when I call.

What is going on? Something isn't right with him. Luckily school starts tomorrow.

He's never missed a day of school. Except for when he had chicken pox and couldn't leave his house for a week.

Surprisingly I didn't get it considering how we're always together. When he came back to school he had eye bags. Like he didn't get much sleep.

That smile still remained on his face though. It started looking more tired the more days that passed. But seemed so effortlessly like it was sincere.

Putting the phone back I sighed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. Without him here things seem more difficult.

Usually the first day of school we match. This time I have no idea what to wear. It's not like anyone pays attention to what I wear though.

People pay more attention to Todoroki. He's always been popular and smart. Some reason he only talked to me.

He could talk to anyone in the whole school and they would know him. We known each other since elementary school. But he still hasn't left me.

Suddenly I heard the door open. I walked out of the kitchen to see who it was. Maybe Shoto was just late today.

"Oh hey Katsuki, I didn't think you would be home this early."

"Hey old hag."

"Don't call me that! Thought you would have learned manners when you were gone." She smacked my head

"Do you know where Todoroki is?"

"No, I haven't seen him recently."

"How long has it been?"

"Since you left, so about 3 months."

I nodded anxiety was slowly growing more and more. Something isn't right with him. My throat started burning from the anxiety.

"Katsuki is everything alright?" She put her hand on my shoulder

"He's missing!"

"We don't know that, you need to calm down."

"I tried to call but the number didn't work." I said

"The phone line could be down or you just called the wrong number." She shrugged

"But that's the only number I have memorized."

"Try again later then."

"But mom!" I called out desperate

"Wait till your father gets home Katsuki."

Of course she doesn't really care. She thinks all I'm trying to do is go to his house.

I'm not ever aloud to go there. Especially since lots of crimes happen there. But also because rich people live there.

I ran up the stairs to my room. The old hag yelled up behind me. But everything was getting too much.

My bed dipped slightly when I sat down. I looked out of the window. My chest felt heavier with every breath.

I know something isn't right. But what is it?
