Chapter 28

"Hey, do you still have those two songs that I wrote but never had the courage to release them?" Skye asked as she bounced down the stairs and walked into the living room. "Yeah, well let me run them by Gabriel and see what he thinks. Yeah, I'll call you back once I talk to him and let you know what he says." She hung up the phone and turned to the group. "Hey Gabriel, can I run something by you?"

"Sure Trouble, what's up?" Gabriel asked as he sat down his notepad so he could focus on her.

"Well, I really liked how you did the music video for Last Resort and you were right it was really cathartic for me and a bunch of fans love it. You also did a really great with Stranger and having Luke as the cheating neglectful boyfriend. Fans are loving that. They are huge hits. Kevin says Bite Me is soaring and fans are loving that video as well. So, I was wondering if I gave you lyrics to two more songs would you be able to come up with something for them?"

"I'm sure Kota and I can fucking come up with something," Gabe nodded. "What are the songs?"

"Here," she said as she passed her phone off. "I'm going to get something to snack on."

"I'll get it," North said standing but she completely bypassed him and headed to the kitchen.

He sighed and sat back down, "Still ignoring you and Raven, I see," Kota said as Gabe passed him her phone. "Can't say I don't blame her."

"Week," Raven sighed as he looked toward the kitchen where there was noise coming from.

"Hey actually," She said coming back into the room, "I have a song I would like to work on with you Victor, if you want that is."

"Sure, do you have the lyrics?" Victor said as he stopped playing on the piano.

"One sec," She grabbed her phone and smiled, "Hey can you send that song to Vic please? He wants to see it, great thanks Matty." She hung up her phone, "Matt will send it to you in a second, maybe you can play around and figure out some piano pieces for it. I'll finish my snack then we can work on it together if you want."

"Sure, what's the inspiration for it?" Victor asked curiously.

"Hallmark movies," She shrugged and walked back into the kitchen.

A few moments later Victor's phone pinged and he pulled up the document then started playing around on the piano. She came back into the room, popped a grape into her mouth then sat beside him on the piano bench. She hummed along then pointed to a part. (Nobody But You by Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani) Victor nodded and took a breath then started singing:

"Wow, it's already going through the roof on views," Gabe smiled as he looked down at his phone. They looked at him confused and he smirked, "I may or may not have gone live to show fans how raw footage looks and they fucking love it."
