I'm Sorry

*Nick's POV*

Its been two months since Abby was kidnapped, and I still couldn't feel her. I spent everyday looking for her, searching high and low. Jace was torn apart by all this. Abby never forgave him, and the day he finally got her back, she was taken away. Everyone was in a sad, depression because their Luna was gone. Luna. She would have been a great leader, she was strong, talented, and most of all, she was my mate. Our pups would have been beautiful, I always wanted a daughter. Her name would have been Ravynn. A knock on the door dragged me out of my thoughts. I opened the door and found a boy around the age of 12.

"Alpha Nick?" I nodded. "They found her trail. We are leading a large goup to get her." I nearly jumped up and down in joy. They found her.

"Thank you. I will be out in a moment." I threw my clothes on and stormed down the stairs. I met up with Lance and Jade. Melisa was holding Jace's hand, they are mates. who would have known? I nodded to them and we took off to the woods. My mate was close, I just know it.

We arived at a small house about 20 miles away from the border line. I heard screaming come from inside and I nearly ripped my own throat out. Those bastards are hurting my mate. We busted down the door and found Abby chained to the wall. She was blind folded and it looked like she was crying. A door slammed shut and everyone growled at the guy who walked in. He looked around and took a step back, his gaze flickered over to Abby.

"Gene, who is it? Who is there?" I walked over and unblindfolded her. Her eys widened and before she could say anything, I kissed her. Out of nowhere a large object pushed me out of the way. I looked up to see, Im guessing his name is Gene, standing protectivly over Abby. He was growling and picked up Abby. At somepoint she was untied and now she had her hands over her face. 

"MINE!" Gene growled at me. I felt all the blood drain from my face.

*Abby's POV*

Nick was standing there with a look of horror on his face. I want him to hold me, to get me away from this place. But would he love me if he knew? If he knew the arrangment Gene and I made? I cried and Gene nuzzled my neck, I tried not to throw up. I liked Gene, and I believe he does like me. I think he got interested in me and never found his mate, so he never really knew what true mates are like. I heard the sound of crying. Shit.

"Looks like our unexpected guests woke up Melanie." Gene said loudly. Lance looked at me, then its like it dawned on him.

"Is she..." I nodded and I wanted to die right then. Nick fell to his knees. Gene set me down and went to get Melanie. "What... why... Why would you do this?"

"It was the only way I could live!" I screamed at him. I collapsed onto the ground and sobbed. "It was the only way he would let me live... " I whispered. Gene came down with Melanie in his arms. He looked at me and went over and handed me the baby. I looked at Melanie's face and started crying all over again. 

"Can we step outside?" Lance asked Gene. He nodded and when they went out I heard a loud, ear splitting scream. I jumped up and ran out side. Jade was throwing herself at Gene, Gene's eyes nearly popped out of his head. 

"Your, my... mate?" Jade nodded and then Gene looked at me. All that pain he caused me showed in his eyes as he looked at me. "Abby, I am so sorry. I wish I had known. I am sorry."

I nodded and started walking. Melanie was in my arms and I heard people call to me, but I ignored them. After walking for a few hours I came into the field where I was beaten, abused, held, and kidnapped. I sat down in the middle of the field and cried. Melanie was cooing and playing with my hair. I layed her down and curled up next to her after I shifted, I haven't shifted in months and it felt good to be with my wolf again. Melanie played with my white fur. she was born 2 weeks ago and she was already crawling, Werewolves are pregnant for 8 weeks and our children grow up to age 2 in five months. That way we can insure that we have a healthy size family. 

She smiled at me and I licked her arm, she giggled and tryed to grab my toung. I heard the crunching of leaves and quickly shot my head up. Lance was standing there with pain in his eyes, I looked down and started crying softly. Melanie started to crawl to Lance and I let her. I knew Lance would never hurt her. I heard giggling and I rolled over to fing Lance smiling at her. He picked her up and walked over to me.

"She has your eyes." Lance whispered. A tear slipped down my cheek and Lance walked over. He stroked the top of my head and I cried even more. I shifted and Lance put his shirt on me. Why did I have to be a screw up? 

"Why did this happen to me?" I whispered. He placed Melanie down and pulled me toward him. "I was told that I was going to be Luna. Now Nick wont talk or look at me."

"He needs some time. We all were shocked, we never expected to find this. How badly did he treat you?"

"He said I was his mate, that night he... he took me. I found out I was pregnant 3 days later, I tried to get rid of it. He said if I didn't do as he said, he would kill me and all of you. There was a time I was so close to being set free, but he came in before I could down the pills. Everynight, it was the same thing, even after Melanie was born. He did it.... The moment I gave birth. I was in so much pain. I wanted to die. I wanted to get out of there. Then he started acting nicer. He let me out side."

"I tried to jump the fence today. He found me and beat me up, tied me to the wall. He said that is how his dad told him to care for his mate. Honestly I don't think he is a bad guy. Did you see the way he looked at Jade? He appologized and I knew he ment it. I know that Nick will never love me the same again. God this is just like what happened when I was 12..." I looked up at him in horror. NO,no, I did not just tell him my biggest secret. No!
