-as much time I'm alive,

I wish I could do anything good once.-

It was cold.

She was alone.

She was lost.

Again.

Like the last time.

Dalianis Monroe was alone again.

Her memories of her childhood were wiped away by the Red Room, and she grew up with a miserable upbringing. She didn't remember everything about her parents, and as she always told, every single thing, she didn't know. She never learned how her parents died, how she ended herself in the Red Room, or what their names were.

Her fingers brushed the red paint off her nails, anxious yet too good to show it, but she was lost in time. Everything around her altered two weeks after she realized she wasn't in the same place at the same time anymore. Everything.

Is she scared?

Yes.

Is she able to show it out?

She concealed it.

She went through WWII, and the world changed dramatically from the 1940s to the 1970s, a period of barely 30 years in which so much had evolved. Dalia missed over 40 years of life and was scared to visit her friends while she was here; people didn't dress the way they used to, technology advanced, SHIELD improved, and she was astonished that it had lasted this long.

Dalia was no longer their director; she was simply a time traveler attempting to change her life in the future. She didn't need to rule SHIELD any longer; she still had a lot of unfinished business to study and understand about the future she was in right now.

She didn't truly trust everyone around her yet, that was the reason why she isolated herself away from people. Wouldnt it be a shock to have someone who everyone believed died for almost 40 years ago be truly alive?

All she ever knew was, Howard Stark and Maria Stark were dead and there was only their kid who was still alive while being the richest man in the world right now, Tony Stark.

Peggy 'Margaret' Carter was in her nursery bed in London, suffering from her disease, Alzheimer and haven't been diagnosed yet, Andrew Carter, her son was killed during the Cold War which only made her alone, no family just alone by herself.

Edwin Jarvis passed away 10 few years after Howard Stark, he raised and took care of Tony Stark as he was his son since he and Anna weren't being able to have children. Hopefully, she knew that he would give Tony as much pressure as Howard did.

Last but not least, Megan Rosewell moved on from her and married another lady. He gained his life, but Dalia didn't get hers; in fact, she failed her love life twice. But she was relieved that his life wouldn't finish up with her; Dalia knew he'd be in danger, and her life had always been about battling, not resting, and living a happy life would never happen to her. Megan resigned from SHIELD just as Peggy's health began to deteriorate; despite his advanced age, he remained present and assisted Peggy as much as he could.
