Hey, sorry this one isn't great, but I lost internet all day yesterday and didn't have chance to write today. I've kinda rushed this one and had to use my phone (which I hate doing) so it's not very long either. That being said because of how short this one is I might do an extra post on the weekend to make up for it.
After climbing up the hill we arrive at the top where the prison is. We all look over the wall at how beautiful the surrounding area is. We then go into the rec-yard
"Ya think any inmate has ever done a back flip in here before?" Elton asks looking at Corbin
"Oh boy that why were here huh?" Corbin moves away from the group a little
"I mean.." Elton shrugs
"Thats why we came to Alcatraz right?" Corbin says is a sarcastic way
"Oh if your beanie comes off it doesn't count" I shake my head at my brothers comment while trying not to laugh. Corbin back flips making us all cheer for him
"Yo I used to dance on these" Corey walks over to a pole
"Prove it" Brandon calls out
"Back when I was a firefighter"
"Prove it" Brandon repeats himself
"Drop the soap" Elton says
"The what?"
"Drop the soap"
"Ok" Corey turns around and pretends to shower "can someone make shower noises like the water is coming out" Elton makes the noises and Corey 'drops the soap' "oh I dropped it" he then wraps his one leg around the pole the spins till his sat on the floor, he 'picks up the soap' and continues to wash himself
"I love how Evan is still recording all of this. Elton, your going to have to split this up in 2 parts. The first is just us messing around" I laugh
"I think we should have a pole dancing competition in the rec-yard of Alcatraz" Elton isn't able to finish his sentence without laughing
"Pole dancing with these? I didn't even think about that" I face plant my hand at Corey
"What did you think you were just doing?" I ask now looking up at him
"I was showering. That was me showering"
"What have you got Corey?"
"What pole dancing?" Corey replies to Elton who just nods. Corey hypes himself up "Corbin can you spot me?"
"Yeah" Corbin puts his hands out, while Corey moves back. Corey walks over to the pole and moves his hands up it then back down. He repeats it a few times and Elton starts clapping
"Ok Thea your turn"
"Hell no, I'll probably break my neck" I shake my head in response to Brandon.
After all of the messing around and the mood being so light, it is finally time to look around. Elton explains though that we aren't able to actually go inside any of the buildings but we may come back one day in the future and go inside the buildings, but for now we will be outside or in the rec-room.
We all sit down in a half circle so that the camera is still able to see all of us. I sit in between my brother and Corey. Elton explain that we have brought all of our equipment with us and briefly explains what each of them do.
Corey decides that we should use the K2 first while walking around a little
"Is there any spirits still here at Alcatraz? we wanna try to speak with you and communicate. This device that I'm holding here will blink to different colours the closer you get to me" one of the devices that Corbin is holding goes off for a second, but nothing actually happens for a while.
Elton sets up a rempod and we all sit back down and while Elton is talking to us about putting the headphones on while listening to the spirit box the rempod beeps
"I'm guessing that's a yes" I say looking at my brother
"Why was that just one beep?" he asks. I shrug my shoulders in response. Once again the rempod beeps, but this time it's at random
"Ask it a question" Corey almost shouts
"Are you in the building behind the window?" I ask abd the rempod beeps again
"Imma stand over here real quick" Corey gets up and walks over to the window the rempod is next to
"If your outside the building with us make it beep once. If your inside make it beep twice" Corey asks but instead of a beep Corey says he hears a horn. The ovilus says the name Robert so Corey asks again if whoever we we are talking to if their name is Robert and the word July comes through. Elton gets out his phone and Google's something
"Uh. Guys. The bird man"
"Robert Stroud" Corbin's eyes widen "are you Robert Stroud?"
"But he didn't die here" Elton says with a sigh
"But they say that ghosts repeats their lives in a loop. So even tough he didn't die here, this could be part of the loop of him being here" Jake smartly says
"That's true. I mean I don't actually feel anything right now" I shrug
"That makes sense yeah"
