Overnight At Missouri State Penitentiary Pt1

"What's up guys welcome back. Today we are at Missory State Penitentiary, this place is massive. It's so big. If you guys saw the last video you saw that at the end of it Thea was unwell. As you can see she's here she's ok"
"Turns out not eating enough and then talking to evil spirits can make you pass out" I say to the group trying to joke
"At least your ok. Made us all worried" Corbin says
"I was scared I wouldn't be able to do the final stretch. We're so close to the end and I really want to finish with you guys"
"I know. Also if you guys weren't aware we were running a contest where we were picking three winners we were flying out to their home towns hoping it wouldn't be negative 14 degrees but it is, and we have one of our winners here tonight JJ come on in" JJ comes running into the frame
"Hello!" he puts his thumbs up "hi my name is JJ" he says in a high pitched voice
"So JJ won. He's in Kansas City which only 3 hours away. Have you ghost hunted before?"
"No"
"Are you excited?"
"I'm hoping I get claimed, oh my god"
"Won't be saying that later, trust me" I chuckle
"Can I talk in my normal voice?"
"If you talk in your normal voice we have to talk in his" Elton laughs. Corey sighs and looks at the camera
"Elton paid him $1000 to change his voice"
"I paid for his surgery"
"Oh shit he can't have is voice back"
JJ and Elton talk in the high pitched voice
"I might pass out again if you carry on" I say to Elton laughing.

We meet up with our tour guide
"Do not mess with any doors, any cell door. We don't have a key for them so if you lock yourselves it's a big deal. We have to call a locksmith to get you out that's on your dime. Last time that happened it took 7 hours to get them out and cost them $800"
"Elton I hope your listening to this" I say crossing my arms at him
"Did you say only $800?"
"No Elton don't be stupid. She's literally just told us to not do the thing you want to do" I whine. The tour guid tells us about the building, how it opened in 1836 and was an operating prison for 168 years. She told us about the 3 main spirits that are here. One is a poltergeist, the second is a residual haunting, Jack, and the third one is an intelligent haunting.

We're take upstairs to housing unit 1 where I start to feel really tired and achy 
"Housing unit one housed our ladies from 1905 to 1926. After that they were moved out of this building to a civil war mansion across the road called minor mansion. Now one of our famous inmates was miss Kate Richard's now miss Kate
Richards she did something pretty deplorable to
be put here she told a speech on the
courthouse step. That doesn't sound too bad does it?" Corey and I look at each other frowning "she was a socialist, she was very respected, very educate. The first thing that's going to happen if you as a lady when you came into msp is they're going to get you all settled in, they're going to put you in your bunk and then go 'you know what it's time for your bath'. Ok now we're not talking about grandma's claw fitted bathtub we're talking at that time it was more like a bath trough. Ok so they take kate to this trough this bath whatever, and she looks down in it and she's just like I can't do it. She didn't want to get in that bathtub because another inmate named Cox had just got out of the bathtub the water was still in
and Alice was in the last stages of syphilis and the whole top of the water was had scabs just floating
around" the boys all shout eww and scrunch their faces at the thought
"Holy shit. And they wanted someone else to use that water?" I shiver at the thought
"Yes and that appalled Kate because if you
know anything about the syphilis disease, if Kate would have had a wound or something she could have contracted that"
"Isn't some of the symptoms of syphilis being tired at achy?" I ask the group
"Yeah why?" Corbin now frowns
"I've just felt super tired and achy since coming up here"
"Seriously?" Evan now looks at me worriedly
"Yep"
"Please don't pass out again" Corbin sighs
"I'll try not to"

Our tour guide continues to tell us that there is a spirit in cell 5 that doesn't like their photo taken. We were taken into a cell where a woman was basically starved and kept dehydrated for 21 days. She then takes us to another part of the building where a man named JBwas kept in the dark and went insane
"All right guys you can go and look around if you want three cells on this side three cells on the other that's a picture of JB right there"
"February 26 1883 until July first 1900" I read off the plaque
"Jeez" Evan comments
"Oh my god"
"Jesus Christ" Corey and Brandon say at the same time as we walk into the cell
"Being in the dark for that long I feel like you would go insane"
"Yeah definitely"
"People did go insane"
"I just feel sad in here, like this cell or dungeon is just full of sadness"

"So this side of the building was built in
1916. Ok a few famous inmates. Has anyone
heard of pretty boy floyd" we all nod our heads "how about James Earl Ray?" some of us not our head some of shake our heads
"James Earl Ray. He actually uh used to work in
our prison bakery in the day. He actually escaped from msp. He he got his buddies to take the
bread out because we'd send big wooden boxes of baked goods to all the satellite prisons he took the..." just as our tour guide was talking we all herd a loud bang as if a cell door had shut
"What was that?" JJ asks looking at all of us
"He took the baked goods out he got in they put the baked goods out and out they drove through the sally port it was almost a year to the day before he killed dr martin luther king in
tennessee a year later" she continues like nothing happened
"So someone who escaped from this prison went on to assassinate martin luther king?" Elton does his nervous smile which always scares me.

We continue the tour learning more about the prison, seeing photos of different thing that have been caught whether there orbs, faces or full body apparitions. We also got to play a game of hide and clap. Now up to us to see what we can capture.
