Chapter 2

3rd POV

Y/N and Clementine have been getting to know each other for at least an hour and it was a pleasent conversation for Y/N. Anything that you would bring up Clem was just really sweet and didn't think his way of life was dumb like his parents always would. Or anybody for that matter.

Y/N: So, what your telling me is that you would rather have a snake for a tongue then lobster claws for hands?

Clem: Lobster claws does sound cool and all, but how would you be able to do anything besides chop stuff up or maybe even break something you didnt mean to, or how would u be bale to put any upper body clothing on?

Y/N: You got a point there, it would just feel weird to be having a very thin and slithery tongue. Imagine talking and every time you say anything with the letter S in it. It might be used as either a way to scare someone or just make them feel weird about being around you.

Clem: I woulnd't mind that from you. It would be weird at first, but your a nice person, so it wont bother me.

Y/N: This actually reminds me of the time where I took at trip to Australia.

Clem: What was it like other there.

Y/N: Oh it was a magnificent place. I've always loved nature and the beauty it brings to this planet, that is of course until the people or even the government for that matter decide to build unnecessary buildings, so they could fill their pocekts with a pipe dream of paper that wouldn't mean anything if the world wasen't the way it was.

Clem: Yea I would be sad if I lost my tree house because someone wanted to chop it down and use it for selfish reasons. I'm with you about nature being beautiful and I would love to see more of nature too.

This conversation is one of the best ones Y/N's has ever had and he only just met this girl and there already having a cheery conversation with nobody being a smart ass, no yelling, no disagreements, just a normal, pleasent conversation that Y/N didnt want to end, until they hear a loud bang outside the tree house and from the woods.

Y/N: What on eath was that. Clem I think we should investigate just in case if it's someone who needs help.

Clem: Oh, ok I'm right behind you.

Y/N could tell that Clem didn't want to go, but at the same time she didn't wanna be left alone, so she decides to follow as they both climb over the fence.

Y/N: Ok put your foot right here in my hands and I'll boost you up.

Clem: Ok

They make their way over the fence and deeper into the forest. What felt like only 7 minutes they come across a figure that's laying down in front of what looks like to be a police car and another corpse with most of it's head gone and blood everywhere. This spooks Clementine and the figure calling out to them didn't make it any better

???: HELP!! GO GET SOMEONE!! THERE'S BEEN A SHOOTING!!

Clementine runs away. Groaning, slow-moving walkers emerge from the forest. Lee tries to run, but trips over the officer's body and falls. He gets up and limps away as he is chased. He climbs over a fence to escape, crawling backwards as the walkers pund on the fence. Shots are fired in the distance, and the walkers leave to chase the sound.

Lee gets up and looks around, noticing he is in the backyard of a house in a small neighborhood.

Lee: Hello? Anybody?

Lee then procedes to look around the backyard where he eventually comes across the tree house and calls out to it.

Lee: Anybody up there?
