My plans for that Friday night were pretty clear.
At seven I was going to meet Mara, we would have an awesome girls night at my place with 21 and 22 jumpstreet.
We'd have our very own all you can eat buffet - everything that makes your heart jump. Nick Nacks, Ben and Jerry's, a huge couch, an unlimited movie selection, no time limit.
Personally I'd say, that's an acceptable view.

For having a nice ambience, I have spent the whole day cleaning the house and thinking of anything I could prepare for making this an unforgettable evening.
The circumstances were nearly perfect.
My parents would be with friends and Jonathan was with his homie so we would have the whole house for ourselves. We could laugh the hardest and loudest and nobody'd scream "Fenja, are you dying again? Could you die in silence then, please?"
A typical comment of my dearest brother Jonathan. Let's call him Tani.
He hates that.

When I was just about to open the skylight so that I was able to see something in the mist after having a shower, my phone was ringing.
As fast as I could I grabbed a towel, wrapped it around my chest and answered the call.

"Hello?"

Just like I had seen my mom doing it so often, I put the phone between shoulder and head, so that my hands would be free for tidying up the bathroom.

"It's Mara.", answered the girly voice with a hint of sadness.
In contrast, my voice was bursting with anticipation.

"Hey my M&M! "

She paused shortly.

"M&M?"

"Yes. You're my M&M tonight."

"Sooo, are you going to eat me then?"

It was clear to see how confused she was.

"No, of course not."

"Would you explain me, what's an M&M for if not for eating?"

"Shure. A M&M is a person you watch a movie with. Movie Mate. In the end it's enlightening, isn't it?"

Mara couldn't help herself but laughing at the other end.
I was just grinning proudly for bringing her there.

To say something sensible, I was asking her at what time she was about to come over.

"There's the point. "

Her voice didn't have the gigglish sound anymore.

"My mom doesn't want me to come."

My imagination of my younger friend and me sitting giggling and chuckling on the couch until the sun was rising again, broke into pieces just like a mirror hitten with a hammer.

"What? Why? I mean, she gave you the permission with condition of a tidied room. And you have been tidying it up for like hours.
I mean she's right, at some time you have to clean something - but that's a different topic. You have fulfilled the request and now you're not allowed to come? I don't get that."
