It's been about 15 years the two have been awake and together.
They've built a life aboard the spaceship and have grown their love for eachother like the plants they grew in the green room.
Onika is sick. Beyoncé is unsure how she will help her wife of 8 years.
She sees Onika laying in bed completely ill, neither of them know how she even became sick, being that they are still the only two alive on the ship. Onika has insisted she can quarantine and take care of herself as best she can, but Beyoncé, she won't allow that. She's right there at Onika's bedside with water and soup.
"Baby." Beyoncé rubs Nicki's cheek. "Open ya eyes."
Onika is just weaker by the day. Her eyes barely stay open sometime. It has occasionally slipped Beyoncé's mind that Onika might die.
"Baby, please."
The other woman opens her eyes and looks to her wife, "Yes?"
"Stay with me, Okay?"
"Bey, I'm trying." Onika speaks with a scratchy and weak voice.
Her herself is unsure if she will and can hang on.
Beyoncé is deathly afraid. She and Nicki have been each other's best friends for 15 years and each other's everything.
After Onika found out about being woken up early, she spent two years trying to run away from Beyoncé until the Ship almost malfunctioned completely. They had no choice but to work together. Onika quickly began to realize that this woman was not the worse person to be alone with.
Everytime Onika was afraid, Beyonce was there for her. Everytime. They shared a bed because Onika grew to prefer Beyoncé's company whenever she could have it. When Beyoncé needed to go and make mechanical changes to the ship, Onika was always there by her side even if she knew nothing about it.
One day, with the food that they found on the ship, Onika decided to make an Im sorry meal for Beyoncé and right then and there was when Beyoncé cracked Onika's shell in half and got to the filling. She fell in love.
Beyoncé gets up with tears welling up in her eyes. She walks away out into the hall and begins to tear up hard. She doesn't know what to do.
